Pakistani Representative shows wrong pic at UN - Indian media erupts

It is India which has not implemented the UN resolutions on Jammu and Kashmir.

I disagree with you.
And since you have an anti-Muslim slant or bias, you too lose all credibility as well.

Pakistan has always been in favour of implementing the UN resolutions, but India has been too cowardly to implement them.

If that is your argument, then what credibility do you have on ANY matter related to India since you too are biased towards India?!
The only difference is that @Solomon2 speaks from a position of knowledge...while you...

Nobody asked you. You stay out of this "Indian."

I said if the Kashmiris want India in a referendum I can accept that.

but can India accept Kashmiris wanting to be with Pakistan.

Time to be honest now Peshwa.

But we all know the on ground realities in Kashmir with all those stone pelters against the Indian police and military. ;)

I got to go now, I have work to do.
I will come back later.

Yup. And until the 1965 war sympathies were with Pakistan. Afterwards, not very much. And today I see no evidence that Pakistan would accept Kashmiri self-determination unless the result of a referendum was what Pakistan's leadership wanted. It's not like Pakistanis today would take to the streets in support of Kashmir's confirmed accession to India, threatening to oust Pakistan's ministers and generals if they refused to accept it, yes?

.
It appears that the "right" picture was shown at the UN , it has had the intended effect

.
I disagree with you.
You have the right to your own opinion but I don't think waving this picture around at the U.N. gained Pakistan anything and I also believe it hurts any drive for Kashmiri independence or accession to Pakistan. ("If Indian oppression of Kashmiris was genuine, why didn't Pakistan use a genuine photo of it?" is the thought in people's minds now.)

.
Read the book. Is it "locally led" when locals who want to lead differently are assassinated by Pakistani agents?
your arguments would've made any sense if you were not extremely biased against Pakistan, which is reflected in every other thread.

Haha...make me!

You want my honest opinion.
We would have zero problem with "Kashmiris" choosing Pakistan. Hell the option is open now!
They can feel free to be Pakistani in Pakistan. But the land stays with India..PERIOD!
As much as I would like to, I cannot hide that Kashmiris that do not want to be Indian, I have no sympathies for.
And I find nothing special about Kashmiris to afford them a special status.
Many including my relatives had to migrate and leave their ancestral homes to be part of India. If Kashmiris have that much love for Pakistan, they should simply pack up and move! If millions did that 70 years ago at the cost of life and limb, the Kashmiris are nothing special. At least not to me.
That is the brutal truth. I personally only care for Kashmir the land, and those Kashmiris that want to be part of India.

Now the question for you is. Would you be ok with that arrangement???

I am back now.

That is where you are wrong. The sympathies in Jammu and Kashmir are either for independence or for accession with Pakistan.

Why do you think people like Burhan Wani are popping all the time in Jammu and Kashmir.

The people in Pakistani administered Kashmir are happy being under Pakistani Muslim government.

You have the right to your own opinion but I don't think waving this picture around at the U.N. gained Pakistan anything and I also believe it hurts any drive for Kashmiri independence or accession to Pakistan. LOL you have a right to your opinion as well.

We agree to disagree here.

The separatists in Kashmir either want independence or Pakistan. This is a fact.

The Pakistani leadership and top brass would accept Kashmir going to India only if the Kashmiris voted for India.

lol You ended saying that I have a right to my opinion because you lost the argument.

As usual you have been debunked on this forum many times, however I do not mind debating with you to debunk your arguments.

Nice try, we need to hold a referendum to see who gets Kashmir.

Glad you admit that Kashmiris do not want to be a part of India.
This is something I always knew.

So I take it you don't have the courage to answer the question.
Would you be fine with taking in milliions of Kashmiris who want to be Pakistani without the land?
Lets hone in on your "true love" for the Kashmiris.

If Pakistan cannot also get the land, but can only take the Kashmiris, we should take the Kashmiris then.

However that is not what the UN resolutions say.

UN resolutions say Kashmiris need to decide whether they want Pakistan or India.

Agreed, we should only have ppl who want to live here rest of the ppl should move out. No one is forcing to in our lands.

If Pakistan cannot also get the land, but can only take the Kashmiris, we should take the Kashmiris then.
Then be done with it. dont give any other silly excuses.

**** the resolutions.
You want the conflict to end. this is the easiest solution. Better for all 3 parties.
India gets what it wants.
Pakistan gets Kashmiris. plus keeps Azad Kashmir.
Kashmiris become Pakistanis for which they have died for (apparently)

hypocrites. Indians do not care about the Kashmiris.

We want what the Kashmiris want according to the UN resolutions.

No way! That is dishonest to the Kashmiri freedom struggle.

Kashmiris in Jammu and Kashmir do not want to be with India. Why should we give up our claim?

Yes. exactly, and they don't have to be with India if they move to Pakistan!
And you give up your claim because you "CARE" for the Kashmiris and human rights etc etc. Don't you want Kashmiri suffering to end? What better way than to give up your claim on the land and take those Kashmiris who want to be with Pakistan. Obviously the Kashmiris that want independence are not your problem. Unless youre suggesting that more people want independence from India and Pak than want to be with Pak or India. And in which case the UN resolutions just don't apply.
Need I remind you of the speech at the UN recently?!

With that line of argument, *** an Indian you should be ok with Israel being told to forget the land and take the people elsewhere
