Why so many went to UK?

UK used a lot of Indian/Pakistani/Bangladeshi and other colonial country's immigrants since back in the day to fill out low position jobs.

I'll tell you why. Sikhs migrated in the 1980s due to Khalistan. Next, after the 9/11 attacks in 2001, a lot of Muslims left U.S. The rest, Christians and Hindus are probably the ones who left India for better opportunity, i.e. for dollars and education like Pakistanis.

Well my father's work moved there so back then i was a high school student.

It depends where you live in Canada. I have lived in Vancouver and Toronto.

From my experience, Vancouver is more of a place for retired people and for enjoying the great weather. As far as Toronto is concerned, well that is where i'm currently living. In my area, i find more asians so yeah its very multicultural. Even the white all over here are not really as an North American white.

What i miss about England is the easy lifestyle. i.e. shopping, less torture in workforce, more time with family/friends, etc. Thats something you can't get in Canada.

Hundreds of thousands of Mirpuris were relocated to UK by Ayub Khan who worked out a deal with UK government.

These people were relocated because they lost their lands and villages due to the construction of Mangla Dam...

I have been there in USA and different countries of Europe and i think UK is best place for living. I don't like London because its very crowdy and busy city. I live in south of England which is very peaceful/quiet place and as you said everything run smoothly and tension free.they also have good social welfare system and UK is slightly pro Muslim compare to rest of the Europe and its multicultural in its true sense. I have no idea about Canada but i have heard that Canadians are more open to foreigners and are not reserve by nature

can you guys stop calling yourselves kashmiri??? Kashmiris are very racist towards paharis and gujjars. We all hate kashmiri wannabes. Instead, you should act like the dogras. We dogras consider it an insult to be called kashmiri.
Be proud of you Mirpuri/pahari race. There are many paharis in Jammu from Poonch and Rajouri and they don't call themselves kashmiri.

First of all i am not kashmiri but pothwari and secondly i dont find anything wrong with word "kashmiri" and third i am not calling you Kashmiri. I was talking about Kashmiri people from Pakistan. You can call yourself whatever you wish

and kashmiri are good people so stop generalizing one ethnicity and keep your philosophy to yourself
