Pakistan has opened its doors for Sikhs from all across the globe, especially from neighboring country India. However, the opportunities of religious tourism that have been opened due to Kartarpura Corridor, will not only help in the revenue generation of the country but also project a soft image.

Yet, the project is upsetting Pakistanis since quite a while. Earlier on 9th November, PID rejected over 200 journalist applicants who were eagerly waiting to witness the inauguration. Notably, ISPR selected a few journalists and authorized them to cover the event. This has upset the journalist community across the country.

It is important to note that authorities are not letting Muslim visitors and media representatives to visit the Darbar. Digital media has been playing a pivotal role in portraying soft image of Pakistan and thus media should be given the full access of such sites, said Daily Times’ journalist who was denied the access despite multiple requests. The rangers maintained that ISPR authorization is mandatory to enter the area. However, ISPR did not respond to the requests.

I think we don't need pre-clearance for entry but finger prints and CNIC have to be presented. so is it not a good thing? As it will not be a general entry like in any darbar, elsewhere in Paksitan

Well according to Pakistan, India is causing terror incidents in other ways, mainly from Afghanistan. Seriously, it's mostly about keeping an eye on ISI attempts to radicalize Sikh pilgrims.

can I tell dumb parsis and others who moan about non-Muslims not being permitted in Mecca that it is two different things. Mecca is a place that non-Muslims do not believe in. but all the places connected to Nanak are sacred to many many Muslims (esp. Sufis) because they believe him to be their Muslim wali-Allah

RAW agents can take as much picture of gurdwara as possible. dont do any harm.
They won't be ble to cross and cross the red line.

sad i was planing to meet with my indian relatives without visa in kartarpur .
