Just so that they can have some strategic space (which is a questionable strategy because you cannot move 180 million people or even whole army with huge assets to afghanistan)?

TTP & BLA is our headache not AT, President of Kabul is free to mine the border and shoot anyone trying to infiltrate in their country.
