1-جب میجر جرنل تھے تو ایک بریگیڈیر نے چنیوٹ کا بنا ھوا فرنیچر تحفہ بھیجا. آپ نے اس بریگیڈیر کو فون کیا اور کہا کہ تحفہ واپس بھیج رھا ھوں. اسکو میری امانت سمجھ کر اپنے پاس رکھو. جب میں ریٹائر ھو جائوں تو مجھے بھیج دینا.
اسکو کہتے ھیں اخلاق اور ایمانداری .

2- راحیل شریف کے کورس کا سالانہ اجتماع تھا اور آپ آرمی چیف تھے. آپ نے اپنے ایک کورس میٹ سے خرچہ پوچھا تو پتا چلا کہ ٹوٹل چندہ سے ایک لاکھ پچاس ھزار زیادہ خرچ ھو گیا. آپ یہ پیسے اپنے فنڈ سے دے سکتے تھے لیکن آپ نے اپنے ذاتی اکاونٹ سے وہ پیسے دیئے.

3- جب آرمی چیف بنے تو پرائم منسٹر ھاوس سے کچھ تحفے آئے. آپ نے وہ واپس بھیج کر کہا کہ آئندہ خیال رکھیں

نواز شریف سوچتے تو ھونگے کہ کیسے ھو گئ ھے ان سے یہ غلطی (راحیل شریف کو آرمی چیف بنا کر ).
