Yes but then call it rules and regulations or compulsions, but its a reality that once we are in a another country, grow up there from childhood and join their force we are bound to follow the rules.
And in such a situation you have no choice. But i guess if you one has a choice in case both the fighting sides are justified in going for war, then one needs to avoid taking sides although i think it will risk that person.
So at the End well you have to pay the price for landing outside whether you like it or not.
