Dont disagree with what he said, just that he was generalising. He was mentioning Hindus vs Muslim killings in India and Shia vs Sunni killings in Pakistan, the same way one can generalise you Lankans as well for the violence between Sinhalese and Tamils. So please stop trying to justify his generalisation. One can generalise Iran also in a very negative manner. But yes, agreed with the rest of his post.

I didn't justify. What I said was regardless of whatever he said, there's some truth about it. I really wish to see a developed South Asia instead of it being in this state. At least Sri Lanka's war is finished now and I am happy about what's happening in the country except for the corruption in government. What I said was that we need East Asian style development not the desire to dominate each other.

I am not sure what articles talk and say...I have stayed with Iranian families, tutored Iranian kids of foreign diplomats So far no one showed me anything otherwise....
Oh yea there was one or 2 who occasionally gave a cold shoulder but arent there weirdo people everywhere?! Look I prefer human to human interaction than articles by media...or whatever you want to use to justify what you say...

They didn't gave you cold shoulder because you are enamoured with Iran and in that particular situation were in an inferior position in human pecking order compared to those families and diplomats.

Everyone loves a loyal dog ( intended as figure of speech ) but fangs came out in situations when two parties divested of mutually beneficial relationship ,whether it is of patron client or master slave, interact with each other.
