For us as Pakistanis, everything is simple. Simple economy, simple currency rates, simple sports, simple social indexes, etc...not for others. They have will to defeat who they hate/dislike in every field.

But, let's not pull this thread away towards a random topic. However in a bad taste, but my post was aimed to deliver a message to those who can grasp it.

In 1992 our 7th win was against new zealand as well, they were undefeated before that match as well, it was a low scoring match as well, Pakistan won that match by chasing as well, Ramiz Raja made a century in that match as well, the 7th match in 92 was fought on Wednesday as well.

They have mediocre bowlers. It's just that they are over hyped in media. Bumrah is slightly better among them but rest is kachra. That china china man bowler has advantage because we haven't played him much. Rear assured he isn't better than Michael Bevan.

We have to rely on India's winning because Pakistan is now scheduled to play against Afghanistan and Bangladesh. Both the games are must-win for Pakistan as in case England lose even one of its two remaining games against India and New Zealand respectively. Pakistan will qualify with 11 points.

The second scenario is a bit tricky and interesting, if Pakistan loses one of its remaining games against Afghanistan or Bangladesh, even then Pakistan can qualify but for it to happen England have to lose all its two games.

Pakistan and Bangladesh share seven points on the table. Bangladesh is above because of the Net run rate. Pakistan and Bangladesh now have to play two games. Bangladesh has to play against Pakistan and India. In the case of England’s defeat in coming matches, Bangladesh will qualify for semis if it wins all its remaining two matches.

Sri Lanka will have to play South Africa, West Indies, and India. If Sri Lanka wins all its three games, they will be a point above Pakistan and Bangladesh. And in case England wins all its three games, it will be sharing 12 points with Sri Lanka. Team with the better run rate will qualify.

Pakistan has to defeat Bangladesh at any cost.

True that, I doubt England will be able to win all 3 of it's games but SL definitely has a good chance since it would play against WI & SA which aren't really in great shape at the moment

Agreed, i believe their media always shows their team(army or cricket) as the supermen where as in real they are not that good. Their top order has technical flaws but nobody discusses them as nobody is allowed to. Everyone keeps their jobs by just praising the Indian team. Whereas Our problem was Inzi(and malik) and his stubborn nature. His selection and his politics brought us at the brink of elimination from the WC2019. But now with a more proper selection, things are way more different.
