^ I wouldnt say its only the British. Several countries have been engaged in such acts (Western media giants like BBC, CNN obviously highlighting the Asian badminton players). However the British have definitely been involved in many scandals, one big one being the cyclist who intentionally fell when they were losing (race gets restarted then). On the restart the British cyclists won. (the cyclist admitted first that he had done this on purpose but now is obviously covering up saying it was an accident).

Personally i think there is something fishy about the GB Australia draw as well. Spain are now in the same situation as Pakistan. Win or go out whilst even a draw will result in GB proceeding to the Semis. The reason i say this is that Australia destroyed Spain, Pakistan, South Africa in their games and were on the verge of easily winning over GB as well (were up 3:0 at half time) before suddenly playing like Congo in the second half. Sure they drew with Argentina as well but still the way they played against GB in the second half makes me suspicious.
Either way Pakistan did not deserve to proceed to the semis with such performances. We barely won over South Africa, a team ranked lower than us and were easily beaten by GB.
