i agree major changes are needed but we need to allocate resources and teach the next generation european style bcz lets face it mud pitch is not coming back its this type of blue wet pitch which is bouncy and faster and we will never win anything if we dont learn how to move fast better stamina and ofcourse the art of passing and marking that style will never work on this pitch where speed and accuracy matter not aggressiveness and shoot

I don't understand, if our cricketers can adopt to all the changes throughout the years - why can't our hockey players? though time and again we employ western coaches to train them.

National players like Uttapa, Manpreet cant even trap the ball properly. Every third pass of the team is a mispass. And your saying our players are talented. Except Sardara Singh (may be Ignas and S V Sunil also) the players are not even worth mentioning.

Indian Hockey is a disaster.

Pakistan is a better representative of South Asian hockey.

Koi nai, players in india and Pak are still more talented then these player...they beat us on Pace and stamina , sad that both country are having problem in adjusting to new playing style...I would have loved to see pak win today....

cricketeres a little bit more easier and its also the top game that gets the most attention and resources foriegn coaches cant teach much if this style is not employed in academies to school level bcz in indo pak academies and plays between schools and stuff have the mlost effect and these are played with aggressiveness

its easy to blame turf while our players are pathetic and selection is based on safarish, why was sohail abbas let play when he is nowhere his own standard

Well i knew we would lose this match but did not know that with 0-7 margin..problem with us is we start expecting too much from our team after they win few intial matches

I think they can only play for the 7th/8th place, Spain is ahead of Pakistan by a goal difference of 5.

Well cricket is different game where one or two individual can win you a big matches unlike hockey where collective performances is needed...

20- 20 game tu bani he pakistan k liya ha..pakistan is unpredictable in cricket..look they beat england in all test matches and we start building good hopes then they lost all one day matches

Holland,germany .english and spanish are also good teams in football..football is very much same as hockey where you use foot as stick

I'm sure that right after 2 years even Argentina and S.African teams will gon'na trash us with speed. The players from other guys countries are given nutritionists and follow a strict diet, while Pakistanis eat whatever the hell they feel like.
