Actually it tells you about the mindset. Why do you think US was able to exploit the F-16s for so long, reason again was the mindset of the PAF. Otherwise this middle finger you are referring to could have been shown much earlier.

As things stand there is no better fighting aircraft then the F16 in the region. There is a reason why panties get twisted when PAK F16 is mentioned.

Correct. And not just F-16--much of American military hardware is matchless in the world and that's why Pakistan military officials have been wanting them. China is not there yet. Not even Russia. Things will change over time for China but the great American melting pot culture of innovation and invention is unmatched in the world.

So those here saying that Pakistan being a fool for 70 years for not being in the Chinese camp are so uninformed--forget the last 70 years, when China was not even half as technologically advanced as it is now--China is still nowhere near the US technological prowess.

This, I say despite the deepest respect for Chinese people: They have achieved so much since 1949 which no other nation in human history has ever achieved in such a short time for such a large population against so many odds starting from so low. It's miraculous.

It has more to do with the nature of warfare and the terrain.

The Chinese have that covered because of various differences.
