Pakistan tops troop contributors in UN peacekeeping

How immoral do western countries have to be to not pledge forces just because they are being paid less?

They make it up by contributing more money to UN,and we poor souls since we dont have that much money make it up by contributing our soldiers.

That formula is highly skewed towards the P-5 and developed nations, which means they end up paying much much more than what developing countries like India and Pak pays.

So? Who is stopping them from making more money off the UN by contributing more troops?

Do you know where they have those french soldiers stationed? Its in lebonon and was apart of a speacial deal between israel and them for arriving ata ceasefire.

So???

Have the French forsaken the money from the UN?:coffee:

Its juts not worth teir time and effort, and thats why its left to poorer souls like us.

Are you actually suggesting the rich countries to have ulterior motives and to be equally immoral?

Pakistan's more Troops leave for Congo

KARACHI: The last batch of 153 Pakistani troops Thursday departed for Congo to serve under the UN aegis.

These soldiers will join formidable Pakistani contingent already in place, in Congo.

Pakistani troops have earned a repute of being highly dedicated and professional peace keepers through their commitment to the global peace, sheer professionalism and relief and reconstruction activities.

The presence of Pakistani contingent has ensured the peaceful elections in the troubled eastern Congo besides normalizing the tense and volatile satiation in the region.

It may be mentioned here that Pakistan is the single largest contributor of troops for the UN peace missions.
