Pakistan tops Google on Islam based searches

According Google trends, Pakistan tops in the searches for terms including Allah, Muslim, Muhammad (PBUH), Quran, Tafheem (study of Quran), Relegious (exact spellings), Jihad and term Khilafat (Caliph). These Google trends are 100% statistical data which indicate where in the world a particular term is popular most and which part of the world is making these searches. In this light of these results, it is evident that Pakistan is moving towards Islam more than any other region in the world.

At the same time, keyword “Khilafat” and “Caliph” has again most searching coming from Pakistan which indicates how much Pakistanis are looking towards Islam as political system. At the same time, in spite of having been a troubled democracy and term “democracy” getting in the news articles very often, the term democracy fails to include Pakistan in the top 10 results.

This is the nature of Pakistanis that they brings religion in every discussion. From Fruits to war,From Toilets to Home, Computer to internet. And you know what is their next search???

So here's the irony: Google ranks Pakistan No. 1 in the world in searches for pornographic terms, outranking every other country in the world in searches per person for certain sex-related content.

Pakistan is top dog in searches per-person for "horse sex" since 2004, "donkey sex" since 2007, "rape pictures" between 2004 and 2009, "rape sex" since 2004, "child sex" between 2004 and 2007 and since 2009, "animal sex" since 2004 and "dog sex" since 2005, according to Google Trends and Google Insights, features of Google that generate data based on popular search terms.

The country also is tops -- or has been No. 1 -- in searches for "sex," "camel sex," "rape video," "child sex video" and some other searches that can't be printed here.

Things like "horse sex" (according to the article) receive top searches in Pakistan.

We do seem to have a lot of weirdos in Pakistan.

This is what happens when you teach your youth that Islam is the be all and the end all of life and greatly restrict/demonise access to people of the opposite sex, and treat love, sex, bf/gf relationships as a taboo. The end result is evident in these Google searches.

Unfortunate but this tells where we are wrong. I had made these inquiries on trends and Pakistan still tops for sex, hot, songs, movies and sadly several similar terms. But again there is a visible reason for that. No one in the past 10-20 years worked on ethical side of society. After Zia, no body worked on religion in the country as a leader. Rather religion became Shaj-e-Mamnooha and everybody tried to avoid it in their behest of "looking liberal" to their English speaking lord.

This resulted in deteriorating National fabric in two opposite directions. Religious domain was pulled by Mullahs but to misuse it and non-religious part went too away to respect ethical aspects. Pakistan needs somebody who would understand value of religion and who at the same time is visionary to bring both parenting sides of society back on a single stream. Imran Khan can capacity to do that.

There is another angle to these -ve searches and that is Pakistan is 6th largest population and most of population comprises youth which is sexually the most aggressive age. But this is our potential, we can either let this population burn itself or we can channelize their energies. We are a burning mountain of fire which can either burn itself to ashes or use its energy to do wonders.
