He is motivated by the vision of Greater Israel. US government unconditionally supports Israel. In the American mainstream media criticism of Israel comes only from Jews. Many Arabs have fallen for it. They have opened centers in Bahrain and UAE to combat antisemitism. So he is not crazy, he is doing something which he thinks is possible to achieve.

Israeli citizens have begun blocking roads in response to the recent firing of Defense Minister Yoav Gallantamid escalating tensions and protests within the country. This situation has raised concerns about a potential civil war, as various factions express deep dissatisfaction with the government's handling of the ongoing conflict, particularly regarding military actions in Gaza and relations with Hezbollah.

Key Developments:

  • Gallant's Dismissal: Yoav Gallant was dismissed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after publicly advocating for a more aggressive military strategy against Hamas and expressing concerns about the government's direction. His firing has sparked outrage among many Israelis who support his stance.
  • Public Protests: Following Gallant's dismissal, thousands of protesters took to the streets, demanding early elections and a resolution to the ongoing hostage crisis involving Israeli captives held by Hamas. Demonstrations have escalated, with citizens blocking major roads and expressing frustration over the government's policies.
  • Netanyahu's Response: In a press conference, Netanyahu asserted that "there will be no civil war" in Israel and emphasized the need for unity during these challenging times. He stated that the nation is facing multiple fronts of conflict, including threats from Hamas in the south and Hezbollah in the north.
  • Warnings from Opposition Leaders: Israeli opposition leader Benny Gantz has warned that the current political climate could lead to civil unrest if tensions continue to rise. He criticized the government's divisive rhetoric and called for a return to unity among citizens.
  • Ongoing Military Operations: The backdrop of these protests includes Israel's continued military operations in Gaza, which have resulted in significant casualties and destruction. The humanitarian situation in Gaza is dire, with calls from international bodies for an immediate ceasefire.

Conclusion

The blocking of roads by Israeli citizens reflects growing discontent with government actions amid a complex and volatile security situation. As protests continue and political tensions escalate, the potential for civil unrest remains a concern. The government faces pressure to address both domestic dissatisfaction and external threats, highlighting the challenges ahead for Israeli leadership during this critical period.

Netanyahu is driven by the vision of Greater Israel dominating the middle east which has made him genocidal. He hates anyone who is in the way or trying to hold him back by even an inch such as Gallant. He is an extremist like Hitler. Abraham Accords is a path toward Greater Israel as these countries have submitted to Israel. Trump will help get West Bank.

The replacement of Yoav Gallant with Israel Katz as Israel’s Defense Minister, attributed to Prime Minister Netanyahu's loss of confidence, likely stems from disagreements over Gallant's approach to Israel's conflicts in Gaza and Lebanon. Gallant has faced criticism within the government regarding his management of the ongoing military operations and strategies in these regions. Appointing Katz, a senior member with experience in various ministries, indicates a possible shift in strategy or style in addressing these conflicts.

Israel took heavy loss with ground invasion of Lebanon and did not make progress beyond three or four kms. That is why he is mad with Gallant. I was surprised they even tried the ground invasion against ATGMs. Will Netanyahu escalate the genocide of Lebanon between now and Trump inauguration. Probably.
