Wow that's a good news.
Anyone noticed that in these days pakis are listening some great newses.

You're not the only one concerned. Voice your opinion here:
Improving the quality of threads by removing Indian members.
That thread is locked. It's ironic though that even that got infected with trolls somewhat lol. What can we do ugh..

that picture is NOT to scale, so there's tonnes of space in space, don't worry. It's the geostationary orbit slots that are mostly filled up.

If you do want to worry about anything, it's spacejunk.

so what the satellite periods have with the satellite design ??
just curious !!!!
That would be period as in "definitively too many" buddy, not as an orbit characteristic.
But I'd rather have pretty ones. It's like with ads on TV and billboards on the road side.
There are too many of each and we're stuck with them, so at least if they're aesthetically pleasing … :yahoo:

Good day to you, Tay.

I agree but the problem is that as more countries gun for more sats, the problem will be compounded.
And most of these end up producing junk! Really, this is the problem. More sats = more junk.
If we made more international stuff, we could cut down on both.

There's about a thousand active sats today & these will produce orbit blocking debris by the half
century mark. More would produce more, that simple!
Global experts agree action needed on space debris / Space Debris / Operations / Our Activities / ESA
Sharing ventures is a must really. And just wait until commercial space tourism picks up.

Good day, Tay.

He is shy to say that Shaheen series is a Modified Chinese DF.
You have any proof of your statement. If yes than why a single line statement.

:chilli::chilli::chilli: Our space walk is sheduled for 2025 ... Indians are going to other planets...\
hohohohoho:flame::flame::flame::flame:
Indian ships have already visited other galaxies thousand of years ago using cows piss as fuel. You dont need to explore the thing which is already explored.

What a sad joke! SUPARCO operates from its HQ in Karachi, Sindh but the Punjabi patwari league of Noora family wants the satellite program to be based in Lahore. These guys are really crossing all limits of stupidity and jahaalat. If they could, they would rename Takht-e-Lahore as new Capital of Pakistan and put headquarters of everything in Lahore.

Including launching the sat. Will it be ESA's Ariane or China's CNSA?

I suggest ISRO's PSLV! It is the cheapest and its reliability and versatility is proven by the fact that it has launched, as of 2014, 71 satellites/spacecraft (31 Indian and 40 foreign) into a variety of orbits. The maximum number of satellites launched by the PSLV in a single launch is 10, in the PSLV-C9 launch on 28 April 2008 (690 kg CARTOSAT-2A, 83 kg Indian Mini Satellite, and 8babo sats, launched by PSLV's "core-alone" version).

But then, India is the enemy nation! :guns:How then can Pakistan ask India to launch its sat? Never mind its cost effectiveness. Paying a few millions more for launching it from other countries is far better than the ignominy of asking India!!

Oh well, the choice is theirs!

I hope they don't postpone further. Remember, noted Pakistani 'defence analyst' Zaid Hamid had forcefully contended that Pakistani would be on the moon five years from 2005. Now it's like...2015 going on 16!! But....:P Oh never mind...next.

They will then accuse us of attaching some spy device to it
