It has already happened, not just this time, but in the past, when troops fired on ISAF Choppers violating Pakistani airspace. This time around as well, as pointed out, Pakistani troops from the second post retaliated with the limited weaponry they had.

The question is not one of 'will Pakistani troops fire back and defend themselves when under attack', adverdant or inadverdant, but one of 'what kinds of additional weaponry will be deployed on the Afghan border'.

The deployment of air defence system means nothing unless they are realli gonna be used against the US/NATO aircrafts or drones entering into our airspace. These kind of news means nothing just to eastablish cheap popularity for our corrupt ruling elites within the Army or the Civil Govt.....We will believe when we gonna see some actions not just publishing cheap news.Our ruling elites have no courage and they are cowards to do anything for our freedom and sovereignty.They know that they are techinically as well as financially incapable to face any war/aggression from the US/NATO......

You are right, but i think generals have lost all their cards to public, there is no excuse left for them for face saving in case of any incident in future, they can't play NATO supply route card, they can't play kick out from bases card, they can't say we didn't assume our western borders as hostile, in short no excuse left. In future if they can't stop or respond to such incidents they will get screwed

No and no. I am not an ex-CIA guy. However I grew up in Northern Virginia, about 5 miles from the CIA Headquarters in Langley, VA, so I knew many CIA people as neighbors and high school classmates. And, no, I am not glad that many in Pakistan are killed. Actually, I wish that only the non-Pakistani, foreign jihadis were killed. But, alas, some Pakistanis welcome them into their homes, and, so, sometimes, they share the same fate, as has been proscribed by Allah.

Fate prescribed by Allah is indeed correct. We know we will get into a lot worse shape before Imam Mehdi & then Jesus (PBUH) comes to our aid. When they do, everything will be corrected.

Yeah but that dont mean we wait or rely on this hope, we have to prepare for the worst and hope for the best.
