Pakistan to deport Afghan refugees

Then you would starve to death.

Remember, as long as the Afghan refugees stay in Pakistan, the dollars would keep pouring into your homeland.

I rather have you guys back to your own druglords run parlement that only control Kabul and have world leading award in drug producing... Well, what you know, they same society was famous for blowing up ancient budha's and executing women in soccer stadiums... And to treat Pakistani with honour they are champs in exporting terror and blaiming others... Sounds like they teached ISAF to do the same. Failing and blaiming... Cool.

About getting cash... I hink it is a lot better then defending Al Qaida and being blown into the stone ages. And honestly, you guys do not need bombs for that. Afghanistan is a dead nation anyway.

That's fine..we'll still deport Afghans even if we have to eat grass.Unfortunately the Afghans who will be sent back to Afghanistan will starve to death.

The whole idea of Pakistan 'starving', when Afghanistan gets fed through wheat smuggled from Pakistan, is a little ironic.

In fact, just cut yourselves off from us, build this force field along the Durand.

I guarantee you life will be far better in Pakistan, as the prices of commodities and food drop because they aren't being smuggled to Afghanistan - plus we don't have to deal with the weapons and explosives the coming through Afghanistan!

I have heard this line a couple of times before from some Afghans. They seem to think, that all Pakistan's prosperity is due to Afghan refugees staying there, because the UN gives Pakistan money to take car of them. What a load of cods wallop.

Pakistan has been an industrialised country since the 50's and it was only the socialism of the Bhutto days which made the economy stagnant (he wasn't entirely at fault since socialism and nationalisation had become a fashion in those days, like privatisation has become nowadays).

General Zia ul Haq's economic policies encouraged industry to come back on track, and try to gain ground lost. There was a time in the 60's when South Korean officials visited Pakistan to learn from its economic achievements and five year plans. They carried on where we left off, and now the two countries are incomparable.

It had nothing to do with the AFghans, who gave us nothing but misery, drugs, a gun culture and thousands of beggars. Now these people who we made, claims that they made us.

Talk about biting the hand that feeds you. I'd be angry if the comments weren't so laughable.

The hell with the Afghans. Sent them back and if they dont then kick them out and I mean physically. They have never done us any good. They were the only country to oppose us upon independence and for years they worked to destablize us, and are once again at it.

No, you are not aware of the situation. As long as Afghans remain in Pakistan we would have suicide bombers, narcotics, illegal weapons, prostitution and decoits running free in Pakistan. These are all gifts of Afghan refugees.

By the way what do you think is being discussed in our parliament now a days. They haven't called in camera session for a cup of tea.

I would again say its time to say :wave:

The vast majority of Afghans in Pakistan have no connection, zero, to terrorists and acts of terror. These honest and God loving persons who have lived in Pakistan for 3 generations, have built lives, homes, families, their dreams and aspirations are no different than other Pakistanis.

Pakistan were once proud of the the ethic that "even if all we have to eat is daal, you are welcome to eat with us" - Lets not hurt innocents and lets not do injury to what is best in us.

Winter in comin in Afghanistan and this action is political ploy, an attempt to shift the blame towards those who cannot defend themselves and whom an angry confused society may see as alien and blame worthy.

Its about time though...................There are enough problems surrounding our disillusioned people than to feed the "pests" as well provide tons of wheat to them..............

Even though the spirit of humanity remains steadfast, their anti-Pakistan sentiment and their display of "gratitude" for our people.

I have lived in the USA and am no big fan of their actions around the world but one thing is: i cannot deny the priviliges, rights and honours granted to me even as person of colour in a conservative region of the country.

Punishing entire peoples for the "sentiments" and attitudes of some ingrates brings no honour to Pakistan and Pakistanis.

How long does it take to become Pakistanis anyway? 3 generations have these people struggled and built lives amongst us - lets not be Saudis, these are Pakistanis, that they cling to a imagined Afghanistan is not a crime, and it is understandable - Pakistanis who live for generations in UK, have a similar "imagined" Pakistan to tantalize and populate their aspirations. If ingratitude is a expression of some, it is better that we express our acceptance and make it easier to express gratitude - do remember that we have not much to offer, but also remember, that which we offer is all that we have.

We are Pakistan, not some mean spirited, little peoples, and it is Pak - istan, by defintion the home of any who would make it theirs. It is not just Afghan or Indian, but Arab, Bangladeshi, Lankan, Uzbek, Hazara, Kirghizi, uighur,Kazhak you name it, we do not have much, but what we have we are willing to share with others who also struggle.

If you would take a moment and look at how confusing, how gut wrenching must we the various tugs on these innocents as they struggle to make a life, you will see a commonality to their experience with that of the majority of Pakistanis.

Some will argue that they are a strain upon society - They once may have been, but these are not a beggar peoples, these are a working peoples. In the big cities, in the small towns, in the villages, please examine their enterprise and you will be proud, these are not a beggar peoples, any economic activity in which they are allowed, they do it proud, these are iPakistanis, God loving, God fearing, hard working and enterprising.

Dear Muse,
Humanity is one thing but solving our problems entirely different thing. If by deporting Afghans our problems are solved or atleast reduced then whats bad about it. They must be deported and then those with valid reasons and papers allowed to come and stay but legally.

Muse,
We have to deport these people.Otherwise they will ruin our country. If they want to live in Pakistan they should acquire proper visa.(They hate Pakistan but they still wants to live in Pakistan...)

There is no argument where humanity is concerned but their are certain factors to be considered before we talk of "humanity".

Most of Afghans don't like Pakistan due to aftermath of 9-11 and mostly same people are present as refugees in our country. When they have a basic feeling of disliking Pakistan, they can easily become potential "weapons" of anti-Pakistan forces.

Also Uncle Sam was quick to take flight home when USSR was defeated. Pakistan was left alone to deal with refugees crises and that certainly took part in downfall of our economy for nearly two decades now.

In current scenario Afghan govt stands anti-Pakistan. As a matter of fact, Afghanistan never want these refugees to come back as some of them will certainly be serving the "great purpose" of destabilization of Pakistan and that shouldn't be allowed by GOP.

"Humanitarian" grounds of this issue would had been considered if there was peace in Afghanistan. Unfortunately Afghanistan has become center of anti-Pakistan forces. India remain quite active in Afghanistan so best possible solution of this crises is to ask India to welcome refugees. Let's see how much of "friendship" they show.

It will be wise to keep "Pakistan" first at all costs instead of "humanity".
