Well ask your fellow mods even some of them know about these things they are just keeping quite

Bro, they haven't heard anything about the SU-35, and it is never coming to Pakistan. The pilots haven't said a word on it i.e. that they like the plane, the PAF has no experience of Russian planes, the set-up facilities for these planes are astronomical and there is no compatibility with present F-16's and Erieye AWACS. Oh, India is also going for the super sukhoi upgrade, which pretty much brings it near SU-35 standards.

Yes you are free to live in a bubble that Russia won't sell us SU-35 because soon it would get busted

The most amusing part about this is reaction of our dear members from India
I am waiting.......

Bro I know at least one who knows these things. I am not going to take name but Russia is offering SU-35 for sometime now

It's feasible over an extended time frame, and seeing as they are on board with the Turkish program, it would make sense for them to purchase the EFT from BAE. But anyway, it is a significant financial investment, but then again the plane will have an easy integration with existing PAF F-16's, AWACS (Swedish), and of course the PAF pilots loved the plane when they evaluated it.
It's up to Pakistan.
Agree, it's true that our typhoons will complement the Turkish TFX programming which we are helping Turkey build and which Pakistan might join.
However, this will necessitate huge investments which i dont think Pakistan has the budget for this. The Saudis/GCC could have helped them, however we all know their relations have been strained by Pakistan keeping its distance from cooperating/getting involved with the Saudis/GCC in Yemen to push back the houthis and their Iranian backers.
So I think the probability of this deal going ahead is quite low.

Pakistani official confirms Su-35 talks
Farhan Bokhari, Islamabad - IHS Jane's Defence Weekly
18 September 2015

The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has discussed buying Su-35 'Flanker-E' fighter aircraft from Russia in potentially the largest defence deal between the two countries, but a final decision is yet to be made, a senior Pakistani government official has confirmed to IHS Jane's .

The official was responding to Russian media reports that Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov had said talks were underway for an unspecified number of Su-35s, which follow a recent agreement to provide Mi-35M 'Hind E' attack helicopters to Islamabad.

While the official said "it's too early to say if a deal will conclude and the terms", the fact that discussions have taken place shows Russia's willingness to sell advanced hardware with Pakistan despite Moscow's longstanding ties with India.

The official said Pakistan's interest in the Su-35 was driven by the PAF's need for a twin-engine fighter "that can fly for a longer range than the JF-17 and penetrate more deeply into the enemy's territory". The PAF flies a mixed fleet of Lockheed Martin F-16s, Dassault Mirage-5s, Chinese-manufactured F-7s, and the JF-17 Thunder, which is jointly produced by China and Pakistan.

In November 2014 a senior Pakistani official told IHS Jane's that Pakistan was in discussions with China to buy 30 to 40 FC-31s - the export version of China's J-31 fifth-generation platform. At the time, the official told IHS Jane's that Pakistan was interested in the platform partly because it was fitted with two RD-93 Russian Klimov engines, which also powers the JF-17. PAF officials have also told IHS Jane's in the past that they have considered the purchase of up to 40 Chengdu J-10 fighters.

The upgrade program is far, far above the Su-35 standards. The program is linked to FGFA technologies.

That further strengthens my argument. So it's superior to the SU-35. Thanks for that.

It will happen and SU-35 is more possible than Euro Fighter in my opinion but you never know

Why? EFT trench-3b will be able to handle any non 5th gen threat from IAF.

And India's PAK-FA/FGFA & S-400s would be able to handle Euro Fighter.

It is not the fighter itself but the country backing it which matters.

There's always the chance that in the ongoing negotiations between the British government and Pakistan for new trade agreements in the wake of Brexit, we might offer the Eurofighter on an incentive basis. But this is as likely as the French providing India with Rafales in this decade.
@mike2000 is back @Blue Marlin @Zarvan @waz

few days ago, Minister of MODP said in interview that we will now pursue TOT and Offset agreements on every major defence deal..

40 EFT will costs around $10 billion than what will be the Offset of the this?

None of the fighters available today makes sense for PAF. India has way too much information about all these aircraft, F-16, Gripen, SH, EFT, Su-35, Mig-35. Even more so when it comes to the Su-35 since Indian technicians have studied the technologies in the jet in detail for the MKI upgrade program.

The only jet PAF can buy is the J-10. Pay more and get into the TFX instead.

Pakistan is getting super Alien technology fighter far superior than Indian chadi polau.
