Pakistan: The Nation That Never Became Angry.

How will those expats cope up with the harsh environment of Pakistan? How will we tell a person who came to Pakistan after working 10 years with Google, that you should allow export of sugar on-paper so that we can keep the businessmen happy by giving them billions in subsidy.

How will we tell them that they need to work for a federal government which has zero budget and power because all of the money is now going to the provinces.

How will we tell them that we must only focus on curbing corruption in opposition and not address lack of governance. ( I will give credit to the current govt. for the sugar commission which is now also eliminating corrupt persons within the party).

We not only need harsh laws but also need to have strong governance to implement the policies. Overseas Pakistanis will be no help to Pakistan if such disorder continues. Our culture of corruption and procrastination has to go but it is only possible if we have a single authority in the country.

At this moment the establishment has never been more political, the parliament cannot legislate due to lack of special majority of the PTI government. The other political parties do not want the current government to make any progress hence there is zero cooperation amoung the parliamentarians and they all end up looking like monkeys. The Judiciary does not let go of any opportunity to further their own relevance in the politics.

I think the the most formidable power in Pakistan needs to concentrate the power by forming a presidential form of government led by, not necessarily IK but some other person who could help bring all the provinces together and work for the national interest of Pakistan.

The current system of Pakistan which is just a political/administrative stand-still. This must change quickly, or we are looking at a broken/fragmented Pakistan, a decade into the future.
I came here 6 years ago....I have stood at CDA and fought with the director refusing to pay a bribe. I have never paid a bribe and have always got what I wanted because I was on haq. Never stole a penney of anyone and to this day I can say the youth of pakistan are amazing. The elderly are the biggest harami you will find and especially the ones with big beards and speak a lot of religion.they have zero ethics and moral.
You have to have faith in Allah and do what's right the rest falls in place. Pakistan is not as bad as some

I love you for saying this. I did not openly say this because there are a lot of them lurking on this forum spewing out their boomer logic supported by illogical arguments and traditions.

The most unreasonable resistance I have faced in recent years has been from the elderly with their questionable beliefs and mindset. When I go to a government office or national bank of Pakistan, the first thing I do is to look for some young man.

Even here I call a spade a spade and I say it in public in pakistan..the truth sets you free.
The elderly have high jacked our morals our religion and have sold our soul to the devil. They force their children to do wrong. We will see in our lifetime the children will start to beat their parents because they are bad people. I hope I am wrong but I have a feeling I am not

InshAllah, Pakistan will break free from the trap of systematic corruption, exploitation, oppression, honour killings, forced marriages, hijacking of religion for personal gain, ethnic and sectarian violence set up by our elders. We are looking at tough times ahead. But we need to power right through them with perseverance and hard work.

When we have men like you who recognise this as a cancer we have a chance

I see ocassional post by PDFers expressing interest in presidential form of government. Are you saying President Nawaz Sharif or Zardari could not loot your treasury dry ? Anecdotal evidence suggests autocrats in Presidential system in the developing world looted more - Mobutu of Zaire, Suharto of Indonesia, Marcos of Philippines
