Pakistan single engine aircraft doctrine rules

There is only one jet that Pakistan needs and it is J-10c we don't need any thing else for our mid gap.
This is the way forward for Pakistan before 5th gen.
JF-17 has proven it's self better than any jet in the world now.

I believe J-10c should be a priority purchase for PAF for a number of reasons.
This Is one of chinas most advanced frontline fighter and therefore will always be first to tesr and utilise any advances in weapons , electronic warfare capabilities etc. It has already been seen with:the most advanced missiles China has, the pl-10 and Pl-15 .

More than this in a prolonged air war with India where would any replacement aircrafts come from. If Pakistan operated J-10c , it would have pilots trained who could operate Chinese j-10's. This would allow quick resupply or even a quick build up of extra aircraft from China before any conflict starts

but we have limited budget so we have to use it wisely, May be PAF thinking that its better to save money for 5th generation fighter jet which will come into play in next 5-7 years, till than defend our air space with F16s and JF-17

New jet type means extra burden more F16 and blk 3 is way to go

We need light (JF-17 Block 2 and 3), medium (F-16 Block 70, J-10CE to counter Rafale) and heavy (Deep strike in India, SU-35 or project AZM)

F135 engine produces twice more thrust than two F100 engines, that powers F-16 & F-15, combined. It's also more powerful than its parent engine the F119 that powers F-22. In other words, this single engine is powerful than any two current gen engines combined. It would be in some ways a redundant argument to emphasize the relevance of single-engine fighter jets just because F-35 has only one.

even F16 also single engine jet, although General Electric F110-GE-129 produce more thrust.
