Pakistan says knew of US raid just after it began

When we have Rehman Malik who needs enemies. he is one of those people whom we consider more harmful for Pakistan

exactly...n today this cartoon network character says in NA that pml-n supported osama!

What is so hard to believe that yet another terrorist attack on Pakistan or another drone strike had happened? You know, both terrorists and the drones rain down death and destruction and so why is it so out of question that someone phoned R. Malik and he concluded yet another drone? At least Rehman Malik does not mince words in condemning Al Qaida and Talibans unlike, you know, the PMLN leadership.

"The first we knew they were coming was after they had crossed the Durand line," Ayaz says, referring to the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan.

Ayaz - not his real name - works for Pakistani intelligence. He spoke to me a few days after the killing of Osama Bin Laden by US Navy Seals in north-west Pakistan.

"There were four helicopters coming in very low and the protocols set in. Jets were being scrambled, but they were called back in as the US then informed the High Command.

"They gave us a grid and told us that they were going there after "a high-value" target. There are certain protocols when that happens - we take care of the outer security, while they go in and do their work.

"We certainly didn't know who exactly was in there."

Ayaz dismisses claims that the Americans jammed Pakistan's radars.

I dont understand how ministers, army chief, ISI chief are expected to react to such a situation. Should not the decision be taken by somebody at lower level? Otherwise it will be too late to react.

1) Could someone shed a light on as to what was happening as the Americans were winding down their mission and were about to leave? There must be Pakistani intelligence officers and/or police there to receive the relatives of OBL. I would say there was probably at least a 10 minute window where senior commanders from both sides agreed to change hands with the OBL relatives? I mean, now Americans want to question the relatives and so they knew the 'value' of these relatives and would not leave the scene without ensuring their capture by the Pakistanis.
2) If only two helis came and one of them went down and was destroyed then could 80 commandoes, plus OBL body and his son's body, fit on just one heli?

lets see what more controversial stuff these guys can make up....every possible type of reply has been given by them so far......

actually this is funny , you ask the Pakistan govt one question ....then they go do permutation equations and come out with every possible answer ....and each minister gives out one type of reply......a nice tactic for confusing the population.....so the people will not know who to believe and will give up on the question due to the confusion

Reminds me of Shahi Taroor, who was booted out of ministry after blurting something( which was out of official party line). Thats sets the tone for rest of the party members. Coming this out of Rehman Mallik a senior politician just shows incompetency of his party.
