Pakistan Rangers Parade Skills

. . . .
Funny you should say that, but discipline and morale, are two things which are taken very seriously in the forces!
that is absolutely correct but I believe that the Army spends alot of time on these drill teams I remember that even back in my days we spent alot of time doing drill for hours, time that could have been spent doing more ''mly stuff'' you know fieldcraft etc, plus I was made to do drill as a punishment by my Drill Staff because I was not ''very good at it'' .
Its important for morale and discipline but it becomes overkill after sometime imho.

Touche buddy, I never was much of a drill guy more of an action man. :-)

and admittedly nothing impresses civvies like a well executed drill parade, they cant help but look in awe at the troops executing co-ordinated movements seamlessly.....:-)

I remember a Egyptian General Quote after 1967 Arab Israel war.....

"Before war we were spending time in parades while Israel was spending time in developing tactics of war"

Doing parade is good ........ but real purpose must not be sacrificed.......

This is actually really good. It reflects high level of discipline etc.
