Pakistan Railways overhauled 58 locomotives

The News cited Mr Junaid Qureshi operations GM of Pakistan Railways as saying that the company has added 58 locomotives in its fleet after repair during the last 6 months.

Mr Junaid Qureshi appreciated the performance of engineers working at the CDW and highlighted their role in improving the railways efficiency. Mr Mobeen Ahmed chief Engineer Locomotives, Mr Malik Sahibzada deputy chief Mechanical Engineer, Mr Athar Riaz Work Manager and other senior officials were also present on the occasion.

He said that railways was facing shortage of locomotives in running its passenger and freight services, stressing upon other railway divisions to work with more devotion and dedication like Rawalpindi to put the required number of engines on the track.

What kind of wish is that ? If you don't want to offer, don't offer, its all in your country's control but what is this wish that you wish Pakistan not to ask :p

thats what i was saying its better to overhaul the engines instead of wasting money on purchasing new engines in which ministeries will get bribe n commission

Simple!

Indian Railways needs at least another 250 to 300 Locomotives more annually and any sales for Exports - albeit Pakistan or any other country - will aggravate the shortages of Locomotives in India.

Mr. what ever bin, we made engines available, it is us at risk of being asked?
