What's new

Pakistan prepares to launch third Azmat-class FAC

. .
Plus it is not like we don't have extra steal or lack of resources to make the ship 10 Meter longer.

Front Gun:

1 - Front gun should be moved up (Second Level)
2 - Front portion of ship should have something for Anti Air role

Traditional 20mm gun, should be moved upper deck (for anti piracy)

We need something with 4 Missiles for SAM

While this may be a bit out dated but something like this for front of ship

Rear of Ship:
Needs , about 10 Meter more added

Would be nice to have
At rear (I prefer the missile based launcher)

Front: Needs a 76m.m/56m.m Gun

Rear: can be any Chinese CIWS or RAAM

The new PMSA vessel will be based on the same Hull as FAC-Azmat?

.
this one is Chinese.. did we made another with Turkish assistance or that was something else..

The hull in the picture inside your post is older and non-stealthy. The FAC-3 hull is newer and includes angular design and certain thicker quoting and RF absorbing materials so its stealthy. The FAC-3 design is similar to the new hull designs the USN has been producing for smaller, stealthier ships.

already has CIWS at rare, doesnt need a heavy gun, as it has decent anti ship power/missles, does however need a SAM short range in the front, probably a version of ANZA or chinese alternative

The advantage of Anza is that it can be stored at a suitable place inside the boat and then reassembled with relative ease.It does not require to be brandished in the open.As it's a manpad and have got a decent battery life(let's say some 20 years). So, one hardly needs to worry about it if one is adequately trained regarding how to assemble /fire it.

Disadvantage:It's not as readily available especially if the action is brought to you in mere seconds.

Note: Keeping in view the effectiveness of manpads against slow moving aerial threats such as helicopters & fixed wing aircrafts. And that fast jet aircraft may be less vulnerable as their high speed reduces the engagement windows. They'll still have their time to be ready with it to engage when it is required. In the hostile waters it most probably will already be in a ready to go stage.

Advantage: The manpad is kept safe with an element of surprise for the enemy.
An outer post on the boat is compromised (could be due to various reasons), but you can still fire your manpads from a different spot (a safe spot) against an aerial threat.
