Can any Indian poster explain why this is happening? I mean allegations of spying keep on surfacing from both sides and people are expelled on these charges, however why suddenly the strength has been reduced to half?

Reduction in Indian staff in Pakistan is good news for us too. They weren't openly issuing visa's or facilitating trade anyways. Their financing and instigation are no secret. We have a Commander Jadhav and confessions from caught militants on how they got funding. Mukti Bahini is a lesson for us, they havn't been and won't be able to repeat it despite several attempts, things are different now.

Has anyone noticed that Some Indian political/defense analysts are now suggesting that India will have to change their foreign policy toward Pakistan because they can't handle both front war. One reason is that Pakistan is willing to sit and negotiate while China is assertive and doesn't give F* about India. While some Indian political analyst are suggesting that India needs to improve relationship with Pakistan, they also point out that Modi is in a difficult situation because his political career depends on showing Pakistan be an evil country. There is also concerned that Modi will not make any changes in near future because of election in Bihar and Bengal. For Modi, who rise to power with anti-Pakistan and Anti-Muslims polices, to change his strategy and make peace with Pakistan will destroy political future of BJP.

if India goes to war with China, Indian government has 13 days of reserves and they know can't win against China. India is afraid of losing Indian territory to china. Pakistan "ordering" a 50% reduction is silly, because Pakistan didnot order this. India declared she was reducing her presence by 50% in Pakistan. Pakistan should taken hold of this narrative and said we are telling India to reduce her presence by 75%, 80%....

All Pakistan did was 'echo' India's statement of India's self declared reduction of her footprint in Pakistan on her own terms, and looked silly for it .. sigh ..
