Pakistan opposes Trump’s plan to recognise Jerusalem as Israel's capital

TBH... I, personally want Trump to make the move, one and for all... and see how those so called "brothers" react... At least we gonna see who is true to his word...
This move is the last rock in Palestinian conflict..; there is nothing after this... Jerusalem out= no more Palestine... what could be left is annexation of what it's left by next door countries and that's it...

Finally after 70 years... we gonna get the answer to this...

Trump has announce already. Even UN has said its against UN Resolutions.

But talk is cheap lets see what Muslim Umma can do now.

. .
there is a UNSCR resolution asking member states to not recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Nations_Security_Council_Resolution_478
And that statement is a load of BS.
The resolution talks about the status of EAST Jerusalem, outside the 1967 borders.
Israel has annexed EAST Jerusalem, something which is not recognized by any other countries.

Trump recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel without changing the US policy on EAST Jerusalem. The US still considers EAST Jerusalem to be outside the Israeli state.

Thus, there is no international law broken.

It's BS. Not legally binding since it's outside the SC remit: the SC is not a law-making body. Nor can the U.N. vanish away the terms of Article 80 of the U.N. Charter, which forbids it to unilaterally change the terms of the Palestine Mandate that encouraged Jews to "closely settle" the region and granted them political rights in addition to the civil and property rights Jews enjoyed under the Ottomans.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Wednesday joined the international community in expressing its strong opposition and condemnation of the US decision to recognise the occupied city of Al Quds Al Sharif / Jerusalem as the so-called capital of Israel and the plan to relocate the American embassy there.

“It is deeply regrettable that pleas from states across the globe not to alter the legal and historical status of Al Quds Al Sharif have been ignored, more out of choice than necessity,” a statement issued by the Prime Minister Office said.

This decision represents a serious violation of international law and applicable UN Security Council resolutions, particularly the UNSCR 478. It is a serious setback to the rule of law and international norms. It signals a severe blow to the Middle East peace process as well, the statement said.

Pakistan shares the international outrage and is deeply concerned over the implications of this decision for international peace and security, especially in the Middle East, it said and added that Pakistan called upon the UN Security Council to take cognisance of this situation and take steps in accordance with the UN Charter.

Pakistan urged the United Sates to revisit its decision as soon as possible in order to avoid the potentially grave repercussions in the region and beyond.

The government of Pakistan welcomes the announcement by Turkey to convene an extraordinary Islamic Summit next week to discuss this issue.

Exactly

The Muslim World currently has a demographic dividend, which will become a burden in 20-30 years
That is the same time frame China modernized, If Muslim can get their act together they can develop, primarily economically and socially within our own countries and global communities, then they get a vote at the table.

The other party learned the game, and built up an Olympic team, while Muslims sit in the corner whinning and playing like its P.E. class
You reap what you sow, the leaders on the the 50+ Muslim countries have to answer to their populations why they have less influence on an internationally recognized hot topic.

don't hate the player, hate the game

Nothing gonna change unless 3rd world war begun and international geography and borders changed by new power. Same like World War One and two.
