Pakistan not invited by Joe Biden to "Climate Summit" while Turkey, Israel, China and others were

. .
It's saying that if they quit Afghanistan then they don't need Pakistan, Pakistan should stop cpec to gain US favors, what an old carrot and stick policy. Pakistan can literally whip their.... In Afghanistan.
But we want regional peace. So we aren't giving a damn. Hope Russian and Chinese decline to join

President Joe Biden administration announced that the United States of America would be holding an online World Leaders’ Climate Summit in the month of April. The White House statement released on March 26th said “President Biden invited 40 world leaders to the Leaders Summit on Climate he will host on April 22 and 23. The virtual Leaders Summit will be live-streamed for public viewing”.

According to the statement by the White House, the key themes of the summit are set to revolve around the urgency – and the economic benefits – of stronger climate action.

In the list of invitees included several world leaders like PM Modi of India, PM Sheikh Hasina of Bangladesh, PM Lotay Tshering and others like President Putin of Russia and Xi Jinping from China.

Other countries whose premiers have been invited to the Climate Summit include Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Republic of the Congo, Denmark, European Commission, France, Gabon, Germany, Indonesia, Israel, Jamaica, Japan, Mexico, Singapore amongst others.

This would have probably been the only summit where Imran Khan and Netanyahu would have been speaking on the same forum.

I feel that Biden is carrying Obama's legacy by snubbing Pakistan. Trump at least recognized Pakistan's importance.

Bangladeshi was also invited, but no Pakistan ,
That's some solid burns.

we should be out of the american camp long time ago... but still establishment doesn't learn. WE need to hit some red neck in afghanistan. Enough with this passive attitude.

dont think of fighting, just focus on the economy. Look at Germany and Japan, they focused on the economy, post WW2. Now they have significant say in their regions.

Pakistan has a 25 year window ahead of it to modernize, due to our young population. India has a smaller window of 18-20 years because its population’s average age is a little higher. If we don’t develop now, we will be stuck. Our goal should be a higher GDP per capita then India, and even Iran. we need sustained GDP growth of at least 7-8% of the next 25 years.

Not impossible if we get stability in Afghanistan and they have to send their minerals through Pakistan (after some processing in Pakistan) to the west or China. Hence why it’s best to show neutrality to major powers, and maintain economic ties, like China did for the last 40 years. If we do that; building lithium ion batteries, polishing diamonds and other precious stones, etc. we can surpass India on a per capita basis. But we need a very shrewd diplomatic effort.

A very unambitious target, Indian gdp per capita.
Do it for the average Pakistani not to one up India.
Excluding Pakistan while including all other sub continental countries is not a good sign.

I said higher then Indian and Iranian GDP per capita; I.e. highest in the region (other than China). It’s not about India, it’s about attracting FDI and making the relationship with the world about finances not security; similar to China from the 1980’s till now.

Indian population by 2050 is expected to be 20% larger then now and peak, while Pakistan’s population is expected to grow 75% between now and then.

all those consumers for foreign companies to market towards. If the economy is growing steadily, and the growing middle class is getting wealthier, it will change geo-politics on its own, as it has done for China.

A higher gdp per capita then India when Pakistani population is equivalent to a fourth of their population is actually very ambitious; sustained average growth of at least 7% per year.

It’s as if the current size of the economy of Pakistan were the equivalent to the current size of the Turkish economy in comparison to the current size of the Indian economy. It would require the Pakistani economy to grow on average twice as fast as the Indian economy, but with all those more people, properly managed it maybe possible. The world banks thinks so:
