Pakistan nearing assembly stage of S20 submarine

We need 14 Submarines in total 8 these and 3 Augusta and than we should go for nuclear submarines.

Currently there are 5 agosta's in pn so adding 8 would give 13 subs...

sir jee one is still on dry dock liek zinda lash but when these subs will indust after 10 years they have nothing left . now come to point 21 September 1994 we sign for 3 subs contract with france . first PNS khalid was inducted in 6 September 1999 and last PNS HAMZA was commissioned at 26 September 2008 . now you may got it how long it will take for 8 subs

Sir, that is correct it takes a long time but there were other reasons too in these delays like the Terrorist Attack on the bus the engineers were traveling. Still the exact numbers that will be bought directly and the ones that are going to be made here are not disclosed...

Sir ji production capability of China is much more than Pakistan... So it could be possible that China produces and ships 2-3 within a year and 1 from Khi...Though this is too optimistic....Most likely this is going to take about 4-5 years max.

Sir, in the past few days I have been given a new name (Nishan) by a senior member so can not say what the future might hold...Only a hint as economy improves PN would add more goodies.

Yuan class would had been a better choice.

S-20 is a small submarine,not sure how many Babur would it be able to take

the babur missile will be launched via large torpedo tubes and i would imagine no more than 12 missiles a sub max.
