What's new

Pakistan Navy's FAC-4, a First Indigenously produced warship, launched at Karachi Shipyard

It is within the realm of possibility if Pakistan can get TOT, or even licensing.

Hell, even Egypt was able to get enough experience from licensing AN/TPS-63 and produce an upgraded version independent of America.
with current treat and relations with the west/USA there is least chance to get TOT let alone licence production, we are only Chance to get TOT/Licence production from China, USA allow Egypt to upgrades its TPS-63 and tell me how Egypt upgrades its AN/TPS-63 because Egypt has no semi conductor technology/industry to upgrade its transmitter/receiver modules on AN/TPS-63 at home

No, the deal would have been announced on DSCA.mil. This is indigenous development with probably foreign T/R modules or indigenous production that we don't know about.

Egypt does have a semiconductor company I found

An Egyptian American was one of the first developers of semiconductors m8.

most probably transmitter/receiver modules come from various sources from EU and you're assuming about local production of T/R modules in Egypt because we have no solid proofs that Egypt has semi conductor industry

It could be from a number of sources such as China, but China will never sanction Egypt.
It takes time to develop an industry, even Turkey couldn't produce T/R modules at first.

How can China helped Egypt to Upgrade its AN/TPS-63, USA wont allow that, and you're assuming again, its just like that Pakistan want to put US/West weapons on JF-17 but they not allowed Pakistan to put Western/US weapons on JF-17
and if Turkey can't produce T/R modules at home, then why you assume Egypt have a capability to produce T/R modules at home, and turkey is way way ahead from Egypt in term of weapon development

TURKEY CAN BUILD T/R MODULES.

AMERICA IS NOT INVOLVED WITH NEW PRODUCTION. THIS AGREEMENT IS 30+ years old already.
"In August 1985, Egypt signed a co-production agreement with Westinghouse. The agreement called for the Egyptian firm Benha Company for Electronic Industries of Cairo, Egypt, and Westinghouse to produce 34 TPS-63E radars between 1985 and 1992. The agreement was reportedly worth approximately US$190 million."

Tell me, if the US had helped Egypt don't you think it would have been announced. Every arms deal in America has to be approved by Congress, and Raytheon the OEM is a major company.

The deal would look something like this, there is no deal there.

Egypt gained experience from production of this radar in the the 80s and 90s.

"The Egyptian Air Defense Command took delivery of the first co-produced radar in 1988. During the final phase of the US$156 million program, 90 percent of the production work took place in Benha Company facilities outside Cairo."

What is you trying to Prove, i am asking you to proofs semi conductor industry in Egypt and you're focuses in Integration/maintenance/repair facilities, and these pictures proves nothing about Egypt has semi conductor industry at home, main ingredients for building T/R modules at home , may be Egypt gets thes T/R modules from foreign source most probably from EU

. . .
I am asking about Egypt not UAE and it a civilian industry not military semi conductor industry/sector, and Stick to the topic, this not a Arab defense section
I will get off this topic, but you need to stop acting like your an all knowing deity and STOP TAGGING people at the end of your posts.

I am acting like you to bring stupid ideas like we should start research to build Ship based radar without having semi conductor industry at home, and i am not claiming that i know every things about defense but i have better knowledge than you
