Pakistan Navy Chief gets Turkish Armed Forces Medal of Merit

SLAMABAD – Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Noman Bashir has said that bilateral relationships and cooperation in the field of common interests between international navies is a step towards containing the emerging threats, which in turn contribute towards enhancing the coordination and interpretability between the navies of our friendly nations. He was talking with Turkish envoy at Navel Head Quarters on Wednesday here in Islamabad.

He said Pakistan enjoys great strategic importance mainly due to its geo-strategic location and, being a major stake holder in the region, has ever emphasised & endeavoured for a coordinated and cooperative approach at global level towards protection of maritime and sovereign jurisdictions from traditional and non-traditional threats.

Meanwhile in acknowledgement of endeavouring for an overall maritime vision at regional and international level, enhancing bilateral relations, making sincere efforts to cordial interactions between Turkish Naval Forces and Pakistan Navy in particular & ensuring brotherly relationship between the two nations in general, and as a symbol of recognition, Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Noman Bashir has been conferred with the “Turkish Armed Forces Medal of Merit” by Government of Turkey.

The medal was presented by the Turkish Ambassador to Pakistan H.E Mr. MUSTAFA BABUR HIZLAN in a ceremony held at Naval Headquarters, Islamabad.

I think he deserve court marshal and kick out of his job early as possible....fail to secure Mehran base...cuz millions of dollar loss..
