Whatever he has said acc. to u is false n propaganda e.g. origin of muslim league n content of the book mentioned by him is all false he has also mentioned the name of the book from which he was quoting

There is a book the "murder of history" by K.K Aziz.. which does give an insightful account into the falsifications made in the history books taught in Pakistan.
However.. trolling with Mr Sethi's ideas isnt one to bring it up properly.

We have tried to instill some sense in Mr Sethi but he simply disengages and not willing to discuss anything...

As for this particular book... I cannot remember such things from my study... Infact the sub continent history was taught to us and the only place where Hindus were shown in bad light if at all was firstly how they willingly accepted the British as their masters and gained favors from them at the expense of the Muslims in India after the war of independence in 1857 and the second place just before the creation of Pakistan when Hindus had gained political power and they used it to cause numerous problems for Muslims... that was one of the most important reasons basically that Muslims demanded Pakistan...

Maybe what Sethi is saying is from a new book that has been poorly written... I dont know...

i think it was Mangal Pandey who started sepoy mutiny don't forget the role of jhansi ki rani n tantiya topey kunwar singh

Just before independence it was the unfair attitude of muslim league as i know they demanded half seats be reserved for muslims which should have been outrightly rejected in parliamentry democracy as demography at that time was around 70% hindu n 30% muslim
which i think was an unfair demand made by them

rioting started after call for DIRECT ACTION not before that

political power was gained by League in 1946 not Congress or any Hindu Party mind u congress is secular

It is really sad how history has been distorted .I have been reading and hearing it for a long time.It is funny how the author of the book mentions that Pakistan was formed in the 12/13th century and so on.The GOP must take immediate steps to ensure that the right thing is being taught at schools.

Hello Barcelona...

To clarify a little more I m talking about what happened after Hindus made governments and I remember it mentioned a lot of Muslim suffering in that time... This would be in the late 30s...

Search function does not work if the previous threads have been deleted or title of thread differs..however past trends have been to merge multiple threads on the same topic rather than deletion or are we about see amendment to that ordinary practice??
