Many parts are made of aluminium (instead of steel / plastic) in CZ 806 Bren 2. The body has been slightly trimmed. Its weight is around 3.10 Kg (compared to 3.80 Kg of Type 56). 700g less weight means a soldier can carry a few more magazines.

Shown in the picture is a Bren 2 (7.62 x 39 mm) in Pakistan.
