Treachery is not the question here. Human nature and the natural order is. We were just FAR TOO DIFFERENT to form a nation with bangladesh. And it played out in the 1971 war. Whatever the semantics were, the creation of bangladesh was enivateable. Didn't matter if it happened in 1971, 1981, 1991, 2001 or 2011 for that matter. Nothing could have prevented it.

Rubbish but highly expected considering here affiliation. Pakistan army is right now high on morale as well as the bond between the army and the people has never been stronger. The defeat of insurgency in Baluchistan completely as well as massive defeats handed to TTP and other anti state groups have allowed pakistan to do something even the beat armies in the world have failed to do.

In fact they are riding on this morale and the bond and have started combing operation in the rest of pakistan as we can see with Karachi operation and the peace it brought to the metropolitan city which was plagued by chaos.

Then there is also the fencing and creation of border controls on the afpak border despite heavy resistance from Afghanistan and Afghan govt and the afghan army but they are moving ahead.
