Divert some Funds to hasten the Naval Babur Project , along with creating a Defense Battery with Transforming Babur into a Anti-ship Missile with a Range of some 700-1000 km protecting our Naval Coasts ..

If we already have a Azmat Class FAC which is better and more Capable compared to Chinese Type-22's than why waste money in another FAC platform ? Stupid Idea ...

With the Order for 4 S-20 Subs we can Easily ask PLAAN to lease 2 Type 54A's and Order them to Produce Upgrade F-22p's Equivalent to PLAAN's Type54A's , the numbers can be around 2-4 ... by the End Chinese Finished making our Upgraded F-22p's we will have 2 type 54A's in short term Notice ..and ready to Defense our Waters with Potent SAM's ..

and If we have some $$$ left , than why not Ask UAE to sell their Mirage 2000's , they can be our Deep Naval Strike Fighters .. along with 1 Full Sqs of JF-17's Armed with Chinese Anti-ship Missiles ..

before we reach 2020 ... our Navy must have

4-6 Type 54A's or Upgraded F-22p's
4-6 FAC Azmat Class
4 S-20 Subs with AIP and ability to launch CM's
Naval Version of Babur with Extended range used as Coastal defense , Range ( 700-1000 )
Mirage 2000's and 1 Sq of JF-17 ..
2 AWACS ..

For Manora Sake , drop the dreams of getting the floating Junk called OHP's from US ...

IF I was in a position to lobby, I would lobby for the US to give PAF Blk61 or F15SA on FOC basis

Mirage 2000 is a single engine fighter, not ideal as a naval fighter. To me what matters most is the life of the pilot, and single engine fighters over water, is outside my comfort zone.

For the price tag, the JF-17 is a very formidable 2nd tier fighter ( Blk3 is another story). Single seater or dual seater, still a single engine!

When possibly facing Su-30's or Indian Naval Migs, you would need a heavier fighter, preferably a twin engine. So yes, The J series, with the exception of J-10, would definitely help.

Btw what ASHM is the PAF F-16 capable of delivering, Harpoon? or more?

This procurement will seriously be a game changer for the navy .

NOT UNTILL DDG 054D we get from china we must buy 2 destroyers and 4 milegam corvetes atleast small boats wont do any better we already had bought too many small boats time to buy heavy ships

brother i am not that expert on these Topics .. but what i learn here , that we have Harpoon and Exocet Missiles in our inventory .. and we can not induct our Chinese Weapons on F-16's ...

Inducting mirages makes no sense when you have BLKIIs arriving ...

Also you will need to upgrade those 2000s (more $$ required)...

Better idea would be getting more new F-16s and surplus's (MLUs)... While concentrating on JF project.... And if economy permits opting for 2 Sqds of J series "flankers"...

Also PN needs to raise its own fighter wing instead of leasing (on deputation) PAF pilots and jets..
