Pakistan, Germany agree to boost defence ties
Defence Production Minister says Pakistan is very much successful in combating menace of terrorism.


Pakistan and Germany have decided to enhance defence cooperation between the two countries.

This understanding was reached during a meeting between German Ambassador Ina Lepel and Minister of Defence Production Rana Tanveer Hussain in Islamabad.

Speaking on the occasion, Defense Minister said Pakistan is a safe place for investment.

He said Pakistan is very much successful in combating the menace of terrorism.

Ina Lepel said that Pakistan was a quite safe country and she was very much interested in travelling and seeing entire Pakistan.

Germany may be interested in promoting their HK rifles for Pak Military. Meeting with Minister of Defence Production gives that hint. It will definitely be significantly large deal. Could be sub systems for tanks and APCs as well. Let's see what comes out of it, if anything.

Is Germany trying to sell it's expensive type 214 submarines to Pakistan to make some money ? If this is the case then it is too late for them as Pakistan is going for Chinese submarines.
