The interests of Islamic ummah comes first, always. Nationalism is haram in Islam. The only brotherhood we have is our Muslim brothers like UAE, Saudia, Kuwait, Palestine. Their interests always must be placed before ours.

You need to reword that. Pakistani nationalism is haram but for Muslims of other countries to love their country and culture it’s halal. Pakistanis are expected to follow the highest standards here.

In a way, it was the same story re the War on Terror. We played a central role, and we got hurt the most, yet got little from the US or world for it.

Our mistake is making 'help' a one way street. For one thing, we can say, "we can't help the Ummah unless our financial, economic, foreign relations needs are settled. If you won't help us, it'd be impossible for us to help you."

Muslims have always had divisions, of course we should support friendly Muslim countries like brothers; But we shouldnt support a country just for being Muslim. UAE, Saudis, and all other useless middle eastern countries should just be restricted to trading relations.

Reading the posts of many above, all i can do is shake my head in disappointment.

Pakistan first, always. No ifs, no buts. People here talking about other Muslim countries. Without Pakistan none of them will give two hoots about you or what religion you follow. Reality should have hit you after the response from the Muslim countries on the Kashmir issue.

There are some hypocrites here who keeps harping about Islam, Ummah and Pakistan (as if Ummah owes Pakistan whatever that even means as the relationship is/was only between 2 or 3 gulf countries). But those same hypocrites start getting retarded when I started this thread on International Community as then their beloved so called POS institutions e.g. UN/Security Council/FATF comes into play including USA.

These hypocrites wants Pakistan to stop looking towards Ummah (we were never looking towards Ummah as its always our Gulf allies) and want the policy of Pakistan first; yet at the same time these hypocrites wants Pakistan to bend over to POS international community i.e. USA, UN, FATF etc.
