Pakistan First or International Community First??????

Disclaimer: This poll is only for Pakistanis; no gangoos allowed.

There was a time when Pakistan would look after its interests and appeasing the international community used to take a backseat. But the same can't be said ever since the corrupt democracy was restored in 2008. Radical changes under the enlightened moderation BS during Musharraf's rule also exacerbated this disease.

Participate in poll and post your opinion with good reasoning. No low IQ post please.
Regards!!!!

The interests of Islamic ummah comes first, always. Nationalism is haram in Islam. The only brotherhood we have is our Muslim brothers like UAE, Saudia, Kuwait, Palestine. Their interests always must be placed before ours.
There no Ummah chumma anymore, look at Saudia, Kuwait, Palestine are not supporting Kashmir issue @Indus Pakistan :crazy::crazy:

When you're weak and reliant on the support of others, you end up compromising interests to survive. We've always had periods of time where international interests were put ahead of ours due to limited capability/resources.

Let's not insult a concept given to us by God (i.e., "ummah") with the wrong actions of Gulf rulers. It's one thing to say, "no one cares about the Ummah," but going around with "ummah chummah" is an insult to an otherwise noble concept. We wouldn't like it if people went, "hajj wajj," or "ramadan shamadan" and so on.

The point he is trying to make is our religious obligations have been politicized to the detriment of national unity. TTP being an obvious example. The same will happen again if something happens in the mid east and they will issue casus belli and Pakistanis will go running to become sacrificial lambs to the slaughter at the expense of national unity. Thats why I have always said religion and politics should not mix in Pakistan to prevent this from happening. Pakistan first ideology must always come first and cultivate religion for Pakistan, not Pakistan for religion. Everything should fit into our optics.

That's cool and all. But direct the animosity to the people who are causing trouble, no need to attack the concept itself since the concept doesn't come from any human being.

Moreover, we know these bad actors are abusing the concept for their own favour.

Think of it this way... When someone says, "let's go back Saudi" or whatever, does it really have anything to do with the Ummah? Backing the Saudis is more like backing the Saudi family, i.e., rulers, who themselves don't care of their own people, much less anyone else's. So, that sounds a lot like bending our national interests on the claim of supporting the Ummah, but in truth, it has nothing to do with it.

Instead, we're left with a situation where people are frustrated about us bending our interests to the Saudis (or whoever), and instead of condemning the root problem (bad leaders), go and attack the concept of the Ummah.

Who benefits from that? We don't. If it isn't "for the Ummah" today, then our leaders will pull the exact same crap for some other excuse, "oh, if we don't bend for the Saudis, they'll kick our expatriates out," and "oh, if we don't do this for the Qataris, they'll tell Al Jazeera to report about us negatively." I guess, they'd be more honest, but all that won't change anything for us.

Pakistan comes first; International community can go to hell, -if they close theirs eyes to legitimate and rightful case.-

The ability to destroy a concept is the ability to control it. So there is no room for even the slightest scare, in our hearts.

Pakistan is lost in the din of MarasiMedia and MarasiUnitedFront i.e PoliticalParties.

Show me one party that understands geopolitics/geoeconomics? Or the meaing of Pak National Security let alone Statecraft?

I do support PMIK because as Paks living abroad he has raised our heads... but GoP is not doing anything remotely Nationalistic.

Have a look at what Fuzla is saying.. listen carefully,... today Fuzla threatened to breakup Pakistan.

GreaterPakistan was broken by the politicians... Mujeeb and Bhutto!

This Iblees ki Majlis e Shura is a curse... and must be removed fast!

General Yahya? Really.

Islam and Muslims comes first then Pakistan. If international community includes India, Israel or America then yes Pakistan comes first.

The answer is very simple common sense and natural our whole system of zakat sadakat and good deeds is based on it Improvement begins with I is one of the main dictums of islam e.g if you have some one in need in your own home you can't go out and help someone in the street you will have to support/help the person who is in your own home then your immediate neighbours then street then town then city and so on so if we are not following Islamic dictums in our sociopolitical life we can't blame Islam for it.
