would love to see 50 cal sniper Barrett's with P.Forces would defiantly be a night mare for PAK's enemies.

The US will not give any of these to Pakistan. Like it said it will only be the most archaic and outdated equipment. The best stuff, they will naturally keep for themselves. And any sale to Pakistan will be bound by the same rule as past FMS to Pakistan ie they won't give any weapons that could change the balance of power in the region as such bunker busters and the like are an immediate no-go.

I doubt our government is in any political or diplomatic strength to ask for any deal.

remember the afgan war is not over and taliban can take over once nato moves out, still now nato does not contrl full afgan with all the fire power on there side the best option would be to bring pak in picture and give joint control.

air strikes would continue even after withdrawal but would not stop taliban.

You really think US will give us the asvance tech, no a big no, forget about bunker busters or intelligence stuff, they might give you some Humvee with no engine , tires and all the system gone from it.

If not begging, then Laash Khori - perhaps someday Pakistanis will think in terms of buying what they want. So curious this thread, almost as if they think there is some sort of clearance at their favorite unaffordable store.

Pakistan do not want or need A10 -
Pakistan need helicopters such as the cobra - but so do Afghans.
And Pakistan need MRAP, but cannot afford the Oshkosh vehicles and can perhaps build their own - but wait, they don't have an economy and therefore do not have funding for such a project

Pakistan is better served by turning the tables on extremist ideology at home, just stop teaching extremism in schools, stop the expression of extremist ideas in media, in society - a whole lot cheaper and 100% more effective than any weapon system

Excellent solution to US Taxpayers problem. Why spend Billions of US Dollars to bring the equipment back if they can sell them at reasonable prices and make money, at the same time save the cost of transporting the equipment back at horrendous shipping costs.

most of the equipment seems in good condition because taliaban hardly made any significant damage on the equipment . If Pakistan offer friendly price it consider some which might be useful in counter terrorism in border area .

Please trust me counter terrorism and even counter insurgency does not require these weapons - Both require the will to kill the terrorist, kill the insurgent - no amount of weapons will buy the Pakistan armed forces that will -- That will comes from patriotism and ethical sense, neither of which the Pakistan armed forces can claim in abundance.
