It's corruption. Nawaz Sharif owes millions of rupees to banks in Pakistan, yet this guy has somehow bought the judiciary to allow him to become Prime minister. The guy is not fit to run a boys scouts club. All his electricity projects have run in to problems, the money is gone though. I hate to say it but this guy is more pro than MR 10%.

Otherwise I have no problem with more cooperation between India and Pakistan, I have always maintained that South Asians need to grow up and stop fighting over silly things.

So you choose to live in Dark??? reducing your exports??? Importing from India was on the table from 2012 itselfs and its only a temporary period after building nuclear reactors you solve the power crisis.

But anyway don't worry its never gonna happen

the amount of investment needed to connect the grid is trivial. Dont compare it to capacity building projects which are always controversial (in India too).
The grid connectivity was supposed to be a short term solution to pakistan's power crisis (and possibly long term if we can trade electricity).
In India, states trade electricity among themselves using the grid.
