Pakistan Declares Public Holidays On Holi, Diwali and Easter

may thee be blessed:enjoy:---hamary or ap k vichaar kitnay miltay hain:D---but,iam afraid my friend
commie @jamahir would kill it-----
sir kea bigara hain ap ka nanhy munhay bacho nay:cray:---they are supposed to relish in this age:bunny:

why should i kill that idea??

in fact it is a commie idea that life must be harmonious... wrote the below lines myself :

when one's material needs are fulfilled without spending most of the day in economic bondage, one can have the spiritual calmness and harmony to create, discover and contribute.

this is the simple desire of socialism.

.
Now they need to get rid of this primitive blasphemy law to ensure safety of minorities.

but it's a good step, here in UK we still do not have Eid and Diwali as national holidays.

. .

Good move which is a show of respect to minorities. More such steps are needed and utmost respect for minorities should be shown. A nation is known by the way it treats its minorities. More action is needed in kidnapping of Hindu girls and the misuse of the Mullah child blasphemy law. Also Hindus need to cremate their dead and need permission to do this. and scatter the ashes in the river.

I think majority of the ashes are collected and stored in Pakistan. When someone visits India they send the ashes to be scattered.

I just want to ask where it is forbidden to mark the birthday of Allama Iqbal? This is just like the Indians-crying against proper rights being given to 14% Muslims. We have 2-3% minorities and we are doing the same thing. We were minorities ourselves in Indian occupied parts weren't we? Severe mistreatment made us ask for Pakistan where Jinnah guaranteed the safety of minorities. We should learn something.

Its very difficult for them. I deeply want to help the Pakistan Hindu Council or the Panchayat. Its the same thing we suffered in Lucknow. The Hindus of Pakistan are always suspected of being pro Indian. I don''t know if Deepak Perwani and Danesh Kaneria couldn't change this feeling who will. We are already weak in regards of protecting minorities and with the terrorism situation things are worse.

The late Rana Bhagwandas was a man who was highly respected but.. I think with Pakistanis like your good self Hindus there have hope of a better future in Pakistan. I have quite a few friends in Karachi who I talk with and they tell me the ground reality there.

Any effort, how minute it is, towards a progressive society should not only be supported but apreciated.

But then again, it is stupidity to expect a positive response from you
People grow cynical when they have seen the system which is backward and conservative and people who try to change that isolated. I think this is another thing that needs to change. Hopelessness. Years of terrorism have left us deeply confused and this has led us to in a way condemn our society and way of thinking that is unprecedented anywhere. The positive thing about it is that we get to take a good look at ourselves and find unique ways to solve our problems.

The bad thing is we don't have much self confidence. I do not blame Syed Ali Haider for his views.

These were pretty late figures to enter the Pakistani political/judicial/entertainment scenario. The real political bigwigs who had a role in creating Pakistan included people like Zafarullah Khan, Joseph Pottan and Jogindar Nath Mandal. All of them are non muslims and had a role in the creation of Pakistan. Jinnah promised us a secular country where minorities would be protected.
