Pakistan-Chinese Navies to maneuver in Indian Ocean

KARACHI: A three-ship Chinese navy task group arrived in the port city on Saturday and were accorded a warm welcome.

According to Pakistan Navy, the task force was led by Rear Admiral Shen Hao.

Pakistan Navy chief said that Pak-China friendship is highly valued and the continued cooperation between them has proven to be a source of strength for both the countries.

During the stay at Karachi, the officers and men of the ship will hold professional discussion and interaction with counterparts from Pakistan Navy on the subjects of mutual interest.

Moreover, official calls on senior Pakistan Navy officers and civilian dignitaries, operational training activities, joint interactive sessions, table top discussions on professional topics and social events are also planned.

At the end of the visit, a Passage Exercise (PASSEX) will be conducted at sea between Pakistan Navy Flotilla and PLA (Navy) Task Group to enhance interoperability between two navies.

The delegation was accorded a warm welcome by the Pakistani Navy and the Chinese ambassador on their arrival at the port.

Three Chinese naval ships, Chang Chun, Jing Zhou and Chao Hu, arrived in Karachi on Saturday for a good-will and training visit.

The convoy is being commanded by Rear Admiral Shen Hao, the deputy commander of the East Sea Fleet. The visiting People’s Liberation Army (PLA) Navy ships were accorded a warm welcome and received by senior officials of the Pakistan Navy and the Chinese Embassy.

Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah visited the PLA Navy ships and met Real Admiral Hao.

Will Pakistan Navy Check their capabilities and Procure them in Future :P :P

We Seriously need 3-4 Type 052 and 5-6 type 054 in Pakistan Navy
