What's new

Pakistan carries out airstrikes along AfPak border

If US could not bring them to submission in two decades and by spending trillions of dollars, do you think we can?
The only reason was because your ISI supported them for 20 years. Taliban would have been finished in the early 2000s if they had not received support from Pakistan.

OK so if Taliban go into war with Pakistan, will not all our enemies support them?

We are poor, no money to support them for 20 years, especially not against the USA

Please stop this propaganda

Yes but forcing them on the table can also be done diplomatically without using force and creating enmity. Sometimes it takes time and patience in diplomacy, did we not invite Iranain interior minister after the attacks of BLA from Iran, we could have done the same here. Military solution is a last resort if all other options fail.
Diplomatic solution was implemented from day one, Faiz Hameed was literally in Kabul

But they were playing games with us, playing both sides, and TTP attacks continued

Hence this applies pressure

If someone supports such terrorist organization to come in power then not sure what we're expecting later when they will actually come in power..

Ohh wait - one solution, need all blame to only TTP and Taliban government is the best people and government.

Pakistan always do such blunders... Since 1990s, many things has changed... Taliban would not be a puppet government of Pakistan... At least chances are very slim..

Before the start of war between Pakistan and TTP, before TTP was formed, in 2007 US did airstrikes inside Pakistan on a madarassa killing 82 children in tribal areas, then the US asked Pakistan to accept that Pakistan themselves have done the airstrike which Pakistan did. This was the start of enmity that gave rise to TTP and later a war between Pakistan and TTP. Did it do us any good, it was not our war and US made it into our war, we lost 80,000 people and hundreds of thousands of injured, with more than 150 billion dollar of economic loss, did anyone give us that money back? Or can someone bring those people back?
Now the enemies want another war but this time it will cause unimaginable destruction. We must learn from history.

I cant ever imagine taliban declaring war on Pakistan ever. But I am sure your enemies will support them if its in their interest.

Faiz Hameed was removed and there was very less visible engagement with Taliban afterwards. Only one time our NSA went to kabul and one time Afghan Foreign mister came to Pakistan and that for OIC.

Do our enemies not support TTP and BLA? They will do the same with Taliban, for them it will be killing two birds with one stone.

Dude this is not propoganda. You have guys like Hamid Gul brag about it on tv shows. I am sure you are not that poor considering that after having gdp rebasing your GDP per capita is similiar to our.

Even the Afghan president said that the Taliban would not last 1 month without Pakistani support. Your support allowed them to come back in power.

How will Taliban fight on an empty stomach without food? bikar talibs will die of starvation before the Pak army sends them to hell.

This is not enough. I want to see strikes on Kabul and strikes in Iranian occupied balochistan! hundreds. Maybe even a few tactical nukes.

No, not ture..

It was started way back in 2003-4 when Pakistan army took actions in tribal area's after USA pressurized to pak government.

Unfortunately this is a knee jerk reaction. In fact during the past 6-months such attacks had already increased significantly and there was NO strategy from GHQ. One main reason was Mr Bajwa was TOO busy with politics and destabilization of a sitting government.

So in short, the main reason they are doing it NOW is because these Generals are using diversion tactics because they have been caught with their pants down, they are under immense pressure of Awam who day by day is beginning to hate them even more.

Long over due move, but done now as a diversionary tactic to take the heat off of the army as a result of Bajwas' capitulation to his master's by sacking IK.

Its not "diversionary"

Normies are paying attention to every move army is doing but this is just a response to past few days.

Pakistan did drone strike against BLA militants and tried to kill TTP leader.

I criticize the King of Halwa too but this isn't diversionary, its just a response to past couple days.

Why jets over drones though?

1st
better to wait for clear official confirmation
2nd
Heaver payloads can be used, since its the post about attacking multiple locations simultaneously so makes sense to use air crafts rather drones.
3rd
For some times drone usage has been very limited for Pakistan even when they have decent numbers which itself could be few pointers they are not fully inducted into current military doctrine or rather dont fully trust the systems itself.

I think it also could be since uncle sam used these so extensively in Pakistan. Military doesnt wanna associate that to Armed forces so dont have bit backlash from public

We need to stop being pacifists and keep bombarding their terrorist bases hard

Call them out internationally for harbouring terror groups in a professional manner.

Force them into submission to come sit at the table with us and talk

Lol these are cavemen you are talking about

They can't and won't "come to the table"

The only language these savages know is FEAR. There's a reason they don't try this stuff with Iranis, Iranis will tear them a new one.

Woahh but why would Uncle Sam target TTP strongholds? That doesn't make sense.
