Which one is the Pakistan best paramilitary force?
Frontier Corps Balochistan
Frontier Corps NWFP
Rangers sindh
Rangers Punjab
All are good in their own capacity as per the roles assigned to them.
Weapons wise all are same.
The leadership of all these paramilitary is from one source, officers i mean.
Roles nearly the same.
One looking after hot plains and desert areas, other two looking after hilly terrains & deserts of balochistan.
Difference would be that FC NWFP may have seen more action then the others.
All correct!
As for the action FC Balochistan has also seen lot of action, similarily the Rangers also have seen action but that was a different one, i mean anti-dacoit, law enforcement etc etc.
BTW, i think what's the need for comparing these all, they have the same kinda leadership and training and they have different taskings and roles, we cant compare such things.
if officers are from army then what is the difference between paramilitary and army training?
yes but the deputation of army officers is a huge strain on the army itself - it reduces the pool of officers within the army!
Hi,
And sometimes it creates resentment in paramillitary troops---like in bangladesh.

Why don't they have their own officer cadre ?
Why don't they have their own officer cadre ?
The Rashtriya Rifles was raised as a para-military force and it was envisaged that its personnel would consist of regular Army volunteers on deputation, ex-servicemen and lateral inductees from various para-military forces and central police organisations. However, this never happened and the force has consisted of only regular Army personnel.
Indian RR, Assam Rifles, Defence Security Corps & Indian Coast Guard have serving officers from the armed forces, so why don't they have their own officer cadre ???
Same answer.
