Pakistan best paramilitary force?

Partially correct, my Q remains unanswered. Answering a Q with a Q does not help.

In addition to those listed above, there also exist The BSF, CRPF, ITBP, CISF to name a few . All these large Para Military forces have their own officer cadre. On being raised Army Officers were seconded but thereafter no more once the orgnisations took off. They now have their own officers. All these are part of the Interior Ministry.

The DSC comprises entirely of Ex Servicemen, there is no way a retired Army Officer can be re mustered like soldiers can.

The link below relates to the Coast Guard. You may find it informative.

INDIAN COAST GUARD - Job Opportunities

Yes i know about the other para-mil forces of india and that is why i did not mention them because they have a separate system, i did not said that the para-mil forces i mentioned are fully manned by indian armed forces officers, some may be fully and some partially as per requirements.

Well sorry if u did not got the point, OK here is the issue, Our para-milt forces are not huge like yours, so instead of having a separate cadre for officers, the PA provides the officer base while the lower ranks are inducted separately and have their own training centers. One of the primary role of the above 4 mentioned pakistani para-mil forces is to man the borders, which the PA also does. So in one way the one primary role of both is same.
Administratively it would be easier as no cost on separate officer training centers & other expenses.
Operationally easier as PA officer normally do the same task which these para-military forces do. And now both PA & Para-milt forces are doing COIN operations, so operationally it benefits.

Now we also have para-milt forces which are manned by police officers, the Frontier Constabulary, Balochistan Constbulary, Reserve Police Forces, etc etc, their role is different, so they are manned by police officers.

Just like your country, where army guys services are needed, we induct army officers, where police type duties are necessary we have police related para-milt forces.

Hope it helps.

yes but the deputation of army officers is a huge strain on the army itself - it reduces the pool of officers within the army!

You are absolutely right sir. It is a regular feature now, but i think these para-mil are utilized for the military's ERE purpose. Atleast the civilians have no problem with them and they dont blame the Army to send Officers and Men on deputation to Mobilink and Eden City! Though i second you that many officers do go out of the Army and it invariably has its effects.
