Pakistan backs India on Devyani Khobragade issue

.
Yea sorry we have nut jobs as politicians....

When our people stood up against American policies, we were the idiots and God knows what...Jub thapar aap logon ko para then you realize who the idiot was/ is?

I remember how many times when we protested against America for any policy or anyone...India never sided us! Good at least we know who has a bigger heart and thinks at a higher level!
Yes i also remember when Raymond Davis killed two Pakistanis none of Indians supported us and even in Salala Checkpost incident when Americans killed our 26 Jawans. I saw a utube clip of one of their media and the report was ''Pakistani soldiers got their asses wiped''.......

I can certainly see what u mean when u say 'we know who has a bigger heart and higher levels'.

Initial reports suggest US police dept. did the cavity search and kept in the same cell where other criminals were kept. In addition to that they handcuffed here infront of her children on the streets when she was picking up her children from school.

This is deliberately done to insult her and India and so India protested.
Very few care about moral issues when dealing with a criminal...Orders are orders...But yea that is bad...But the cavity search was about some S.American lady...how did that story transform into an Indian politician going through the same? Because the Indian Politician story (or at least the initial one) did not have this details....was it added later or a mix up with the S.American lady's story or what?

.
Also @Talon do u remember MV Suez saga in 2011? When we saved their citizens from pirates and even escorted them to safety and send them back with Emirates ticket and what they did? they kept our citizens in jail when they saved ours and even didnt told our authorities abt their whereabouts!!!

nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ! ! ! ! it can not be happening :shout::cray::suicide2:
They poked in your internal matter....and are supporting us on an international one:bunny:

While compared to protesting the drone strikes and causing difficulties for NATO...i guess this doesn't add that much fuel to the fire.

However the "support" would seem to be motivated behind saving their own asses should Pakistan be caught in such a spiral. It perfectly legit move though:police:

1stly, I watch your back but you never watch mine is in play

2ndly, it is an Indian diplomat's treatment of an Indian maid ....how come no one feels for the Indian maid? No cry for justice or human rights there?

Firstly...India needs something "worth reciprocating" to.
The one which was top of the mind for me was the Basmati Patent case.

Secondly...From a US standpoint...its a legal violation. The US did a faggy job to lift out her entire family on such short notice which was illegal mind you. The maid is no saint....niether is Devyani!

1. The maid did not complain about any physical or mental torture.

2. She was earning 30000 Indian rupees per month on the top of free food and lodging at NYC.

3. It's true that her salary was lower than the minimum wage of NYC, but by Indian standard for maids (and I assume Pakistani too) she was living life like a queen. And I am pretty sure that she knew all of that before leaving India. She just wanted a green card and created the whole scene.

For your info, free food and lodging is something most of the people who bring in maids from their village give so thats no biggy... wage...Maybe giving free food and lodging is a big deal for Indians not for Pakistanis...all of my mom's friends who had a maid gave free food and lodging and sometimes new clothes everytime they came back from Pakistan...so for us its not a big deal...the big deal would have been if she is earning higher than minimum wage which she wasnt...
So based on the fraud the diplomat pulled its alright to trash a maid's rights to minimum wage? Do you know that is an offence...breaching an agreement...and there is also a case of falsified immigration documents...America is already as paranoid as can be and you bring in a person under falsified documents...obviously it is going to become a big issue...

As for the maid complaining or not...most of these women are not very literate if they were they wouldnt be working as maids....secondly i dont know if she knew her basic rights...

Legally yes, the diplomat was probably at fault for not paying the minimum wage, but my post was regarding feeling sorry for the maid. Knowing the ground realities, do I feel sorry for the maid? No.

How about some of the things @Umair Nawaz brought up?

True Americans were harsh on a woman...but my question still stands...the cavity search was not mentioned in the 1st article that came out few weeks back...however after the S.American lady was violated with cavity search and reported to authorities, was this "cavity search" suddenly linked with the Indian diplomat ...and there was a video posted on this site and many Indians said that looked fake...so why is that included in this article?

so my question is was she violated? Why has no woman rights group voiced out if she was...cavity search was not necessary in this case!

Not probably she was at fault unless Americans are accusing her of something she did not do...What ground realities would that be? She ratted out her employer?

I have seen how Indians sympathize with our minorities but in front of a diplomat their maid is no one?

# She did. She filed an entire case on the matter, perhaps you need to read through the case details before commenting on it.

# Doesn't matter. Does it adhere to the law of the land? Nopes!!!

# An Indian queen on a third world salary that would translate into a pittance even by our standards? I You must be joking with the royalty references.
