Both pictures have same uniform which are copies of British Army WW2 era that was standard British desert issue till about 1946.Pak Army uniform in 1965

that musharraf's era pic isn't accurate. yes they wore khakis but in the field there was more to it - in the kargil war pics most servicemen were also wearing flak jackets. by the end of his presidency we were using the arid camo and bulletproof vests on the front in waziristan.Pakistan Army uniform during Mushy's Era
the brodie helmet that the anglos used for so long was discarded in the early seventies with the US m1 helmet. if you look at west german soldiers from the eighties or early nineties there wouldn't have been too big of a gap in terms of gear with what you have on the pakistani side:
