basically these haramkhors are getting their butt whipped from one place to the other and now they are running out of even stories to propagate as they have been chased out and killed from one stronghold to the other , strangely ( or perhaps not ) the exit of American troops from Afghanistan has also resulted in decline in resources these SOBs had at their disposal

It will be actually a very effective strategy but i dont think Pak army is that much desperate and helpless against Taliban in Tirah to resort to these extreme measures. Another example from the history is war of Russian empire against Imam Shamil in Caucasus, they had to clear all the jungles from one end to another to corner Imam Shamil who was making effective use of Jungles and mountains.

Historically speaking Tirah is graveyard of armies and soldiers, entire armies of Mughals perished in this valley during Akbar and Aurangzeb times. British suffered more casualties in Tirah than any where else in 1897 rebellion and no attempt was made to conquer it but just punishment expeditions. The area has remained unconquered for centuries due to its difficult terrain. And let me say it bluntly, previous Pak army's operations in Tirah have failed due to heavy casualties, they had to retreat. This time , Raheel Shareef doesnt seem like a man who would waver at the reports of mounting casualties of his soldiers, unlike Kayani.

Cleansing tirah wilk take time. For me the best strategy is to use drone n heli to search n kill ttp in mountains. While blocking all roads and treks. Choking thm of ammo and food.

@Samandri history is to learn, not to hesitate from it.. as Course of time is changing it self when we want to change it,,, or try to change..
The Best strategy should be the use of Snipers, Drones for Precision along with the ground forces & Sniffing Dogs... to be backed for hunt and kill ,as trained Dog are their who can sense or smell IADs or These Takhfiris smell from far away,, and Chok them in 1 area or segment to kill them Bluntly....

Then take note of the winds through meteorology and find a pattern. If not put them in a siege. If not provoke them occasionally by random firing in the forest and make them fire back, agitate them and whilst they are under a siege and soon they will run out of resources. There my comrade problem solved!!!.

I wouldn't say that. Tirah is going to be most difficult fight of this campaign. Dense jungles with rocky terrain make worst place for any army. This kind of terrain is even difficult for modern air reconnaissance. Drones will have hard time locating terorrists in dense jungle. I'm afraid it will be a bloody fight for Pak Army. PAF will likely support them with relentless bombing (they are already at it) but there are limits to aerial bombings. Our boys need all the support and prayers of the nation.

Pak Army please capture atleast one of these bastards alive, Mullah Fazalullah, Omar khalid khorasani or Umar Mansoor, and hang them publicly. But the guts of hanging them publicly are difficult to be found.
