Pakistan Army Attack Helicopter option

Although according to friend no way in near future Pakistan would have less than 100 attack helicopters if that is really the case than we may see this beast in Pakistan but which ever beast comes it's time we get them with TOT and produce them in Pakistan.
It will depend on how soon Denel can get a functional Rooivalk Mk2 prototype ready. But Denel Aviation did promise flexible technology transfer and co-production benefits for an early Rooivalk Mk2 customer.

I never understood one thing how did Romania get the production line for the Puma? PAA operates Puma as well and now it is interested in the production line which is a positive sign. As for rooivalk project being revived could that heli be as customizable as our JF17 for example as in one can add systems to it for their own needs. could be why things are getting cozy with SA.
Romania initially built the Puma under license from France. They shut it down in the early 2000s, but Airbus Helicopters bought it up and decided to shift the H215 Super Puma line there to bring the H215s' costs down. The plant opened in September.

Pakistan should try to get TOT of any helicopter which they plan to have more than 50.

Obviously Russia and the US aren't giving anything more than an off the shelf purchase.

Turkey's helicopter is already the result of a joint venture.

Working with South Africa seems to be promising in establishing a local helicopter industry.

The other option is of course China.

Russia is offering you latest Air Defense systems and MI-28 if Pakistan is not doing or pursuing than it's not Russia fault.

May be they offered YOU because they denied offering PAKISTAN. At least do not repeat the things that have been debunked already. Jithy de khoti uthay aann kholati!! THERE ARE NO "latest air defense systems" as you have quoted and confirmed in the past, offered to Pakistan by Russians. Do not make your self and your country a laughing stock. PLEASE.

Lol,, so the half dozen or so reports denying the SAM offer and many more about Su35 are are lies and it is you alone who knows the truth because your FB buddies told you so. Great, end of debate here. However it is not right to mislead others by telling them what you THINK as what you KNOW.

There are number of news reports, jut google them and you will know who much water this SAM and Su35 talks hold.

Those claims have been denied by the Russian authorities and that is end of the story unless you want to ridicule your country and its armed forces.

This was one of the few things Ceausescu's regime did right.By positioning himself as a wild card to Soviet interests,he was,for a while ,a darling of the West. Thus,he got from France, tot and licence for Pumas in the 70's,tot for Dacia cars,etc...

Airbus didn t buy the whole factory, just a part of it,in a joint venture. The other part still does maintenance and upgrades for Romanian and international Pumas (UK,Morocco,UAE).

Worth noting that the Rooivalk is in the heavy-weight range - like the AH-64 and Mi-28. Denel Aviation is reviving the Rooivalk program under the Mk2, which will retain the airframe, rotors, engine, etc but add new avionics and weapons. The Rooivalk shares the engine, rotors and other internals of the Super Puma, which is among the most widely built and affordable transport helicopters on the market.
Like the Cobra and the Huey

PA should plan how many attack helos they want for the next 10years, e.g. 150 units.

Now they should buy 30 off the shelf, or less than that if possible, and manufacture the remaining 120.

China, Turkey, SA are all good options, each has its own sets of pros and cons.

Regards

I think it would be at least 100 no doubt about it I think Pakistan will try to double the order of Zulus to 30 and than get another attack helicopter 60 to 70 and this number doesn't include MI-35 because they are coming for some other purpose.

Those claims have been denied by the Russian authorities and that is end of the story unless you want to ridicule your country and its armed forces.
Yes off course Russians denied it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:omghaha::omghaha::omghaha::omghaha::omghaha:
