dont feed the hungry bharti trolls.....the event, as always, was good marketing for Pakistan defence-related production. It was at IDEF -which i was honored to be a part of- where Pakistan signed the joint-venture deal with Swtizerland for the Oerlikon production and joint marketing.

sending aircrafts for display is expensive. Some people here think that setting up stalls or booths is easy work and just requires flying or shipping one thing to another place. The IDEF stall alone, which covered one section of the salon hall at the buyucekmece facility was close to $160,000 - and yes, i am privvy to those details so I'm not just making random numbers up.

We can't be show-casing our APCs or tanks for the same reason; which is why models are on display with mountain loads of brochures.


my hope is that they didn't use the old out-dated version of the POF documentary (which is on youtube). And i hope somebody in attendance or at least familiar with the event can update me/us
