We can afford to because we can more than make up for it with trade from the Chinese Superpower or other countries FAR superior to india. indian trade is irrelevant to us. By the way, HOW and WHERE do these dubious sources back up your initial claims?

PS Can you PROVE that Pakistan's economic situation is not going to get better soon? I was in Pakistan only 2 months ago and the infrastructure and the living standard of the poor has NEVER been better in our ENTIRE history. China is still very much a export oriented country.Unless pakistan does not improves its infrastructure(CPEC alone doesnt cut it) and human resources pakistan wont be able to leverage its young demographics and low wage labour costs.

If that is the case India would have sought an all out war long time ago but the truth is they don't seek it and in fact both countries don't seek it currently or previously.
